Joanie Yeager: Like a Sister
She's the coolest person you'll meet
She's the one that can't be beat

She is my friend I know her well
When she feels sick my heart swells

I love her like my sister
I wish I could see her cause I always miss her

I just wanted to let her know
She is NOT my enemy nor foe...

A Heart's Quest For Restitution
A sick, bleeding heart
Sings a song of loneliness
It lives for true love
And is searching everywhere
For the one who will mend it

A sore, vengeful heart
Longs for a moment of peace
The heart is maddened
And is straining to repair
It's cold, endless suffering

Cards of Love
Just children with their homemade card
Brought so much joy when I was down.
I was so sick my heart was scarred,
Just children with their homemade card.
To show their love, it was not hard,
Their love to me a peaceful gown.
Just children with their homemade card
Brought so much joy when I was down.

Searching For Love
For love my heart hunts,
From the ground up to the sky.
At night I sleep alone.
My aching heart asks "Why?"

I search the land.
I search the sea.
I look to the night sky
So the stars can hear my plea.

No love by sunlight,
And none under the moon.
My soul is sick; my heart is pierced.
I will grow tired soon.

For love my heart hunts,
And always in vain.
I will grow tired soon,
Still stuck in endless pain....
