Searching For Love

For love my heart hunts, From the ground up to the sky. At night I sleep alone. My aching heart asks "Why?" I search the land. I search the sea. I look to the night sky So the stars can hear my plea. No love by sunlight, And none under the moon. My soul is sick; my heart is pierced. I will grow tired soon. For love my heart hunts, And always in vain. I will grow tired soon, Still stuck in endless pain.
