A Heart's Quest For Restitution

A sick, bleeding heart
Sings a song of loneliness
It lives for true love
And is searching everywhere
For the one who will mend it

A sore, vengeful heart
Longs for a moment of peace
The heart is maddened
And is straining to repair
It's cold, endless suffering

this was inspired from a photo that a friend posted on gather.com. that's where all my poems are :P she mentioned this site to me :P thanx sharon for your comment. this poem speaks from expieriences i have had with love and loneliness. but i wrote it to have others relate to it as well. it is the truth from my youth, but i have also had friends that have felt this way at one time or another.

It is only a natural thing for the heart to do. Somewhere in time, the gifts of the heart will be yours once more. Can feel your pain and loneliness in this well expressed write. Hope this is more imagination than truth. Well done. Love, Shar
