MAKE A WISH

A wish for all the wishes that I wish
remove them from the murky field of doubt
make them come true with magic wands quick swish
awaken to the fairies sunrise shout
“SHAZAM! Now that’s what I’m talking about!!”

Say Abracadabra, Ala kazam
Jette with Bibity Bobity Boo!
Array a wish that your heart makes
Displays Hocus-Pocus! Poof! Magic comes true!

Open wide Seasame – first star to the right –
Reopen happy thoughts for magical things
Tokens of pennies fly from wizard’s wands
Spoken Shazam - Presto Chango on wings!

The chops were bland, I think they were lamb
The mash was lumpy with minimal seasoning
Now please stop crying, with you there's no reasoning
I've told you before now I'll tell you again
I am the judge of all women and men...

Heckboy
Censorship’s alive and well
In Dickson, Tennessee,
Whose Roxy Theater advertised
Upon its proud marquee:

“Heckboy,” playing there beside
Both “Dumbo” and “Shazam.”
Of course, there’s no such movie
And that title is a sham.

The owner thinks profanity
Should not be on the sign,
So “Hellboy” was a name that she
Decided to refine.

To me, there’s not much difference
In those words; they’re neck and neck,
But such censorship implies this country’s
On its way to Heck....
