Lafayette we are a shamble of noises
digging the street and towing cars
as I told you so for my two twenty
that I pay for and you delivered hundred ten
or may be a sewer to extinguish a fire
stop tropicana for a drink of coconut...

Think I've figured out people with all their quirks Not to say I'm immune from how this strange world works Actually, I'm a prime example Of common sense, made a shamble Why can't we all go through life with dirty big smirks

Had Found Home in a Shamble Horn Haiku
when poems did disable
even though they were stable
closed each and would table

when we would call Paul
he slipped while in shower stall
poorly landed on ping pong ball

when we did gamble
would rock, roll and ramble
found home in a shamble...

A women of one drawer
I lost a friend today
a summer pal
we shared seven years together
it left me by the rear
where my cheeks meet the chair
my life in shamble and no need for rags
I just empty its pockets
look at him one last time and let it go...

I am born today
On the fringe of infamy
In the wake of tragedy
And I shall have my say
About your world.

I am born of peace
The melee is shattered
The womb is battered
And I take my lease
On your world.

You hand me your shamble
You bid me God speed
You've planted the seed
And I'll take the gamble
In your world....

my life a shamble
a rumble of dogs
stella and chewy's
on my watch we eat
we pee the stairs
and with bounty
windex come handy
swiffer weeper
where are those eyes
duane reade smell good in the garden
abundance of roses the cat hides
tomorrow a new day to walk P T
Bam Bam a lots of action under kantha
the growl the drool we are all fine...

Mindful Or Mindless
My desk is all of a shamble
My garden is full of bramble
Does this show me to be
High in ability
Or just a bad example

So, if I tidy up the mess
Would my intelligence be less
Would I be a social turd
Misunderstanding each word
Just like a politician ... yes?

Einsteins Quote :
If a cluttered desk, signs a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?

Penned 17 April 2015...

The Shambles
One day I appear in the supermarket
in sweatpants and T.

Stained nocturnal, I drive my son to a concert,
then sleep in that T, eat breakfast in that T,
wear that T all day,
shamble into the night.

I have entered the middle,
the shambling center
that is the patched heart
of aging.

Days are thrown together,
nights hang on the backs of a chairs,
rumpled mornings enter the evening
unchanged....

Premium Member Rough Shod
A floor of dead rusted leaves rustle and crackle
Crunching their crisp skins dancing under my feet
Shuffling with sodden soil thick with grit - I grapple
With sticky dew grass and spongy peat

Alligatored tree bark grabs my hands then bites as I shamble
Holding on for balance on uneven chards of scalloped stone
Dazed by the cool dark mist in this early morning amble
I am rough shod but heart happy right down to my bones!...

Them
I can hear them coming,
Just down the hall,
Just down the corridor,
I see their shadows on the wall.

Closer, closer, closer they come,
What do I do!
If they catch me,
They'll have a new thing to chew.

Even closer they shamble,
Withered hands outstretched,
Their mouths open...moaning,
Their decaying bodies wretched.

There is no way out of this school,
My fate I'll meet very soon,
This school...is my crypt,
And this hallway...is my tomb....

My Toyota Tercel
Terry, as I called him, was ten years old when I bought him
No power steering, that, I could handle
No air conditioning, now that was a shamble
I tried fixing his air, but he said no
He drank all of the freon and said let's go
With my head out the window, we drove along
One day the brakes went out, and when he finally stopped, I walked home
I reluctantly put him up for sale
because he was my first car, my toyota tercel
