Shadorma For a Squirt of Dish Soap

2 bubbles
rise, perfect rainbow
see-through globes
of sunlight
dancing on free air. Who cares
for washing dishes?

Song Mates

Cicadas
like Maronite chants—
night churches,
tree numbers,
heat August more than hellfire;
without kinking wings.

Keep A Light On

I must go
our relationship
has faded
you still care
keep a light on for me, I
may return to you

Premium Member Hermit

Damp shiver,
under wanton fog,
lone self plight,
as shrill cry,
swallowed by eerie phantoms,
of snow gust night’scape

Premium Member Meatless Mondays

I wonder: is one man's ballad invalid word salad or a plant-based substitute for veggie palates?

Baptism In the Bathtub

Red baptism
Crown, forehead, mouth, heart
Were released
Were redeemed
I bathed in living water
White towel wore me

Dark Hours

Shrivelled day,
Mottled charred desires,
Still pursuits,
Dying hope,
Shadowed duty engagement,
We fall and rise still.

Premium Member Wild World

What a world!
Hustler, are you pleased?
I wonder.
In your heart,
Harlot, are you satisfied?
Hermit starves in fear.

Roses

Shadorma (roses)

Poor woman
Sell roses in streets
Of Oslo
Law arrives
She has no proper permit
Flowers confiscated.
sad

The beauty
I see in my head
Like no one
Seen before
Unique and pleasurable
You are everything

Hermit

Hermit thrush
hops, hovers, flips, flicks
gawping shy
modest nest
cup of moss, weeds, twigs, rootlets
sings so Oh! holy

Premium Member Hermit

Hermit's shack
off the beaten tract
way out back
where young eyes
will not see and won't be sad
about love passed by.

Premium Member Hermit

At times I am, a detached girl secluded, wings folded, seeking a deep enlightment _ spiritual peace.

Shadorma My Lovely

Shadorma about love

My dearest
I do remember
Loving you
Forever
Words were so easy back then
But I spoke the truth

Premium Member Star Gazing

Star gazing
your arms around me,
Just lay back
how they shine
as they stare in awe of you;
Shooting smile twinkling.

Premium Member Highway

highway drive:
high hills and headlands,
headlights on,
hard shoulders,
is this the highway to hell?
or heaven's highroad?

Premium Member Boy Toy

My boy toy seems coy and cunning. Sweet nothings repeated, some uncompleted, he leaves my hope depleted.

Premium Member Hermit

  Hermit

self-assured
solitary soul
longing eyes
staring far
peering down his inner self
forgetting himself.

New Beginnings - a Shadorma

Freedom is,
   To break the shackles
   Of the yoke,
   That binds me.
   New beginings, no more work,
   Unchains liberty.

Premium Member Snuff

Ears ringing,
just let your heart race;
‘I want you’
Dancing words;
We can play in the shadows
snuff out all the lights.

Premium Member Engulfed

Soft whispers
of green breeze in leaves,
incense blooms.
Summer heat
is everywhere that I turn.
Sun falls through the trees.

Premium Member HUSTLER

Yes- hustler, all dressed in his lies. Slick talking, devil tongue. Loves ladies of all ages, you watch out for him.

A caged skylark

clouds alight
dew beads on wet leaves
feels like love...
sleeping buds
blossom their unfolded wings
a caged skylark trills.
