Sans Servile

In sang-froid, sass cords:
Sangoma dashes siren,
Thunder crashes trunk;
Sarky banters with lippy.
Spim for Santa maidenhead.

Public Serpents

often, those who piously claim to be

                  taxpayers' servile servants

                    are but public serpents!

Sam's Slippery Silk Sheets

Sadly, Sally Wix's silly sixth son Sam's slippery silk sheets
were severely soiled so several sad servile servants scoured

Apolitical

tithes, alms to atone for lies and murder

            politician, shrewd provider

            feeling saved all over

often, those who piously claim to be

            taxpayers' servile servants

            are but public serpents !

Senryu On Cellular Reality

Senryu On Cellular Reality

( Hitlers)

Nations joyously
celebrate independence.
No freedom yet
from shrouded Hitlers.

Chairs they behove
vindictive and corrupt.
Servile prostrate before
tyrannical eye.

Looking Down

The cats
were so used to
looking up. They
hunched on their bellies
.
like hairy doormats
and their eyes turned
like those of animated
bedrom slippers.
.
So high I stood,
all of my 5 foot 3.
Feeling the pain
of back cramps, I
.
bend to feed them,
wild animals
somehow brought servile
into my tenderness.

The Bricks You Lay

Is your house built out of certainty
are the walls made thin or stout

Is your mind filled up with questions
do you live in fear or doubt

Is your spirit free or servile
is your will unchained or slave

Is your heart the trowel you build with
and love
— the bricks you lay

Rhymes With I'Ll

I'LL
SINGLE FILE
SOMEWHAT SERVILE
I WALKED THE MILE
STRAINED TO SMILE
ALL THE WHILE
I DISCARD THE GUILE
SWALLOW THE BILE
WITH HAPPY DENIAL
I REDUCE THE PILE
SORRY TO RILE
I'M NO ISLE
SURFED THE DILE
THIS 'CHILE
WALKED NO AISLE
LIFES A TRIAL
SOMETIMES INFANTILE
THROUGH THE TURNSTILE
WITH STYLE
I'LL
PLAY ANOTHER TILE.

Tethered Heart

Is a broken anointment
Destined to become
A salvation all unto itself
Closer to humanity, yet
Mostly shattered and so much
More Servile
If I should dare present with'
A broken Spirit
And profess it's Will
To the Angles'
And,
If I should dare shed
So much as a tear,
If not for the Will of God
And for,
The sake of Gods' Will

Shell Shock

Duress and death and flies persist
but I can't rest, or I won't rise

While on I press, relays of mist
that graze beside me now and then,
make red my dead and distant eyes
but raise my listing head again

Unhinged, ashamed, yet still servile,
I aim and brave men atomize
to ginger haze around me, while
ghosts and grenades fill the skies...

Bankers

Bankers from their benches to cicumvent in webs
Anxieties of the dwindling bread in vicious schemes
Nation-states invent, becomes by promise celebs
Kindled on uncrowned hearts, now dries up dreams.
Ensnared we ponder at reforming this global art
Reviling old landscapes and phantoms of magic lust
Servile greed has coffled all to the stagnancy of trust

I Ask You, Sir

Apr 2012
Chennai

I ask you, sir!
Of late, inanimate
Toothless, tethered
Can’t jump turnstiles

     "Agree, align"
     "Ask, but smile"
Mute, asinine

     "Uncalled, unnice"
     "Pushy, out-of-style"
You know, I’m fine

      "A wish, undone"
      "Exit, condone"
      "Look back, smile"

      "Unearth, sift"
      "Write," but why?
Unbonded, servile

Alive, a life
…Sad, demise

The Dog, the Bear, and the Maggot

The Dog is structured,
Always working to preserve,
Familial ties.
Diligent service,
Loyal to love and country,
Strong yet still servile.

The Bear is nurtured,
A hunter in fair weather,
Useless in winter.
Promises plenty,
But bleeds his own forest dry,
Water, trees and all.

The Maggot is cankered,
A hollow soul and stomach,
Skulking forest floors.
Can only scavenge,
ON the corpses of others,
And their fellow man.

Spring Panorama

Azure streams silted with cotton bows
Green, svelte carpet spreads below
Silken florets on tawny branches glow
Yellow daffodils cloak the meadow row
Purple violets' royal fabric vaunted hills hallow
On servile plain, feathery dandelions spread umbrella
Along hedge rows, creamy honeysuckles with sweet dew flow
In dense, brown brush; fledgling chicks from saffron gapes bellow
On the forest floor; jittery, gray squirrels deplete nutty escrow

Paradise Is

...where animals communicate
in ways we don't anticipate.

…where all their many words are heard
and they can make us feel absurd.

…where they will have the self-same rights
as lowly humans in their "heights".

…where they don't have to bend heads low,
put on a base and servile show.

…where dogs can frolic without chains,
horses are free from chafing reins.

…where no species is endangered
and each can live in its own herd.

Twilit Love

The days where the morning dusk ,
Stars timorous to light up at night.
A drop of clear salty liquid
rolled like rainstorm,
At last Love brought grievance.

Deluded by your love
Illusively dancing with you in white,
In a desert filled with roses.
Where fearing Love
pays death servile breath.

An augury which may never be,
Stupor by this love,
Disguised as felicity,
Let it be known that your love
portends the End of my Days.

The Wind

The February full moon stirred
A wintery blustering
Wind that roared through the neighborhood
Like an out-of-control freight train.
The stark, naked trees swayed wildly
In a ceremonial dance
While low-growing tree branches touched
Intermittently the ground
In swift, servile genuflections.
Then for an abbreviated
Lull, an eerie silence prevailed
Within this moonlit quietude
Until the winds bellowing voice
Was heard echoing its return.

Twisted Fantasy

O deviant is my dark mind
That fills my dreamings with dark lust
And hunger screaming within trust
So bound am I this want to find.
I have become a servile slave
Her bidding given by a wave
Is done before I’m left behind.

So dark the wantings of my soul
Embracing love within her pain
My lips pleading hurt me again
To ease my need and make me whole
In love or hate I need her touch
The poison that I want too much
Dictates her pleasure is my goal.

Heroic Champion

Written: May 14, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Embrace light within, never trail your cloak. Embrace thrill, but stay safe. Embrace strength with grace. Embrace wisdom of servile bliss. Embrace a warm smile for friends and foes. Embrace a squat so you can climb up. Embrace strength with a gentle touch. Embrace greatness with grace. Embrace a duty of sacrifice, yet still thrive. Embrace both last and start.
