Premium Member Into the World of Silence
Slipping, slipping back into the world of silence,

Once thought to have resilience.

You have discovered a broken heart,

In a world that came apart.

With words that cut deep,

You found that you were just cheap.

Your soul cries out in pain,

Only to be cast out in the rain.

Is there no friend?

Anyone you can depend?

Premium Member Altered State of Reality
An altered state of reality,
Could there really be a duality?
Who determines if everything is twisted?
I always thought everything just coexisted.
It’s just a matter of perception,
Outsiders just see a complexion.
It really comes down to perspective,
It’s all subjective.
Who are these fellow creatures?
They claim to be our teachers.

Premium Member The Beast
Deep within my soul is a ferocious beast,
The more people push me the more I think of
a stupendous feast.

Down to the core I am rotten,
Is it possible I could be the next Mary Cotton?

People say I write with such anger
I try to give my problem to the King that was
born in a manger.

Has He forgotten me?
Is it possible for me to be truly free?

Premium Member Alone
As i sit here empty and alone
I feel the darkness cutting me  to the bone
What anger i feel inside
Theres no one to confide
How can this happen
I feel so broken
All the happiness i once felt
What an awful hand i have been dealt
I want it to end
I have lost my best friend
Oh how i hurt there is so much violence
I dont know if i can deal with the silence
I have to continue on
Oh Lord i feel so alone

Premium Member Phoenix Rising
Today, I felt as if I stepped off a cliff.
Am I just a waif?
For so long I have been in bondage.
And I have seen the carnage.
the pain and agony,
and people looking down at me from the balcony.
Today in my silence
I felt a surge of defiance.
Just as the phoenix rising
I will no more be compromising
Shackles and chains are broken
No more soft-spoken
Let the weak become strong
For I do belong
I am one of the chosen
I am like Lozen.
