Lines.
Vascular, photosynthetic ravines,
Cut deeply into the skin;
They morph from scar into the heart's sustenance.
an earthy agenda intrudes
compelling us to act and engage
mindful not to scar face of space
we nonchalantly turn the page
Clench mine and sense it
Never release if unsure
Feel every moment
Feel every scar and roughness
Until you feel satisfied
My blood have no rhymes to trace,
while my wounds are on a race
when these scars have found its place
I lay without grace.
Skin therapy couldn’t materialize
Consequently leaving behind a blemish
An injury that is permanent
Resting deathlessly on me
"A broken promise is like glass in your toes...
it always leaves a scar."

“Scar-amouch”
The beauty of a youthful scar is that you get to make up the story to go with it.

Through the dark, I find my way,
Night may linger, but not stay.
Every scar, a tale I keep,
Mountains move where shadows sleep.
Car crash train wreck tragedy
far has pain trekked after me
scar gash stain trick catastrophe
discard mash drain reject strategy
Somewhere close or away far,
Want to be a bright rising star;
God created,
And celebrated;
On Jesus we still see His scar.
Jim Horn
You can't always inter a scar,
If the affair that induced its being;
Is a clock haunting from afar,
And from its memory you're fleeing.
Truth hurts and scares you
but don't hide behind there
it will stay with you
and maybe transform into a demon
that will forever scar you
etched hard
your name
within my soul
an unrelenting
caustic scar
with every breath
reminders of
the wonder that
you truly are
those who have been to us callous
what toward them is our response
do ripples scar our void-like stance
is compassion held in love’s sconce
Old battered vessel,
Waves crash but it sails onward,
Seas can't break its will,
With stories in every scar,
Enduring, it braves the storm.
silent wounds turn stubborn into strength,
over broken earth, courage takes slow root,
under each scar, light relearns the language of living.
day there will be
that nothing will be
as before:
nor love
of the present,
Not from the future
nor the stain, scar, pain
from yesterday...
I have tried to dance
pulled upon a moving train
a cork for a flood
each paper cut a new scar
far too deep to free my heart.

A musician resting in a spar,
Was playing his electric guitar,
An almighty spark
Plunged his home into dark,
He was left with a musical scar.
The grace to forgive
Does not mean it’s forgotten
The heart remembers
Scar tissue ever present
Yet it pumps out crimson love

what a girl
that Pearl
so naive
so true
life's been cruel
made her blue
dragged her down
left a scar
but there she is
shiny red
racing car
Form:
A mind
hints
torn again
uncertain
like a flowing wind
confusions, non guidance
set in
a rush
oh hush
a deepen scar
wounds within
twisted.
words
spoken
in anger
like punches thrown
cut and bruise and scar
blighting spirits
breaking hearts
only
words

My heart was skinned when you left.
And the sutures were just removed.
I have been to the doctor and the healing.
The scar is a reminder of the thrust.
Form:
Your threats ricocheted
Inside my head, bullets
Searching for an exit.
I had them removed
They left a scar, and
Part of me is missing
I want it back.
