Must've been daylight savings time
For a hour ago
You loved me
You liked me
You used me
An hour ago you wasted my time
A hour ago
He, as a young man did aspire,
To early in life retire.
A savings plan he began,
To which he continually ran.
Better planning this did require
Trump Savings & Loan is a joke
Concocted by some Russian bloke
Although it may seem
An investor's dream
The management team is Stone-Broke!
Daylight savings time was for farmers
But its demise is now on the brink
Whether to keep it or let it go
I wonder what Big Ben workers think?
Big Spender thought he'd take a flutter
On the market for peanut butter
He blew their savings
On foodie cravings
And they ended up in the gutter
It's not enough
Time in the day
To do what needs
To be done, it feels

Spinning faster with
The help of daylight
