Runes
You have to give before you receive .
If you don’t ,then you’ll be deceived
Please know what is in your head
If you don’t ,you are dead .
Runic spirits ,old
They are mighty.
They are bold.
Wisdom.

Tracing the Moments
I surface with the morning rain,
a night blindness
opens its windows one by one.
No work to go to
so I write
casting shadows upon a caged sky.
Words appear beneath
a curled tongue.
I draw a sketch of black bones
and white spaces
arrange a runic code
into a stuttering speech.
A percolating coffee pot
sounds its reality alarm,
but it is far away
and I can hardly hear it....

Silver Bride
Winters moon called to the dark
Silver light shining
down on her
Bride to be, crafted with magics embrace
Runic lines emblazoned
under the stars
No warmth to be found in the cold
Glistening lips of shining

Bare and naked before the fire of the forge
Burning desire to touch once more
my silver bride

Homeward Bound
The runic pattern cast upon the ground,
That calls wandering Celt to journey home,
To sacred lands where mighty kings were crowned,
And there hearts dwell while the feet may roam,
Ancient songs of Mystery once more found.
O Celt, now sing the song within your heart,
And love the fertile lands of Mother Earth,
But leave no lasting scars as you depart,
Protect her well for future love and mirth,
Respect her mortal realms of divine art.

Cryonic Comfort
It is as cold as the tomb
When its thick white blanket
Shrouds the now dormant earth
Pristine and pure
Muffling sound
Making us the living dead.
Up above sparkle the icy heavens
Sending down the deathly
Pallor of the moon.
Downturned knives of icicles
Stand guard over windows
Frosted with runic designs.
Resurrection from this suspended
State of animation
Recommences with the thaw
When the icy daggers drip
Reproclaiming the essence of life....
