Spin Cycle
As the washing went round and rotated
She sat on the top and gyrated
When the spinner begun
She said “this is fun”
And finished her laundry elated...

Diamond
A
		            square
                    rotated onto its flank.
                  A shiny expensive twinkle
                       a bright heaven star:
                             Diamond...

Premium Member Two Hundred and Seventy Degrees To the Left
as I got older
my brain started going south
so I rotated my bed
two hundred and seventy degrees
to the left
going west towards California
now I feel younger, more alert,
more liberal and free...

Ous That
The truth became hideous
While lies turned delicious
I was not fastidious
Neither was I insidious
Only slightly bilious
Because I was lascivious
Though in truth, I was oblivious
That I rotated into supercilious
Even though I was punctilious!...

discarding concepts
we swim in the ocean
of the totality of all that is
ever vibrant
always spontaneous
delighting our childlike heart
with a soothing caress of bliss

we have long since ceased
calibrating spiritual progress
since polarities rotated
we now are the void
pervading feeble form
and as both waves and the shore
we enjoy surfing the bardo...

Premium Member Assimilating Boons of Grace
Bliss imbibed but not assimilated,
cajoles us to enter silence tranquil,
that whence polarities are rotated,
ego recedes on surrendering will
and we see light of Self, when we are still.
The seeker who searches does not exist.
All we as mind-body do, is resist
but if we relinquish desire and fear,
bliss in permanence in us will persist
and in timeless time, God too will appear....

Premium Member The Rot Has Sunk In Deep
Self appraising himself as a monk awake, immune from life's outcomes, always elated, he woke up one morning and began to shake, quaking in fear, so had to be sedated. No longer could he be placid like a lake, for his feeble form's gender was rotated! The roots of conditioning go in quite deep, so it's best we assume nothing; let grace seep. 11-October-2022

Lullaby of Kite Stuck In a Tree
a moment to rejoice felt the slight high of swaying away
the tender breeze was all so cool singing a lullaby to me
i swung high and rotated low swinging away in glory

never knew when the drizzle so slow started to spray
me with awe
slowly i lost my flesh and identity drenching in the storm
that stole my clothes and left me bare
here i stood like a skeleton hung with nothing
but well spend momenst in thunder....sunkan...

Premium Member Perfidia
sitting there in the cinema
holding his phone
checking his messages
he rotated his upper body
                            ever so slightly
towards his wife next to him
as if making himself comfortable
angling the screen away
                            ever so slightly
so that all she could see
was a sliver of glow

an oh-so-subtle movement
that would have been lost
on a casual observer

which
unbeknownst to him
she was not...

After the Fall
The last leaf of my backyard tree,
rotated and floated
while falling on the ground
as and when, it broke
from the branch.

It mingled with the pile,
of the dried garden grass ,
disintegrating apart,
its everything, then
into a raw ball.

With the elements galore
the moisture more and more,
with organics of choice,
it made a fertile bed
that was of soft soil.

Then again,
the first leaf from its seed
fluttered and bloated,
while sprouting out
near the same branch....
