Road Less Traveled
My plans for a road that's less traveled
are looking a little unraveled;
inflation is roaring
and fuel costs are soaring...
Yikes, six hundred bucks for the gravel!

Trust In Him
(In reference to the LORD)
If your cup from Trouble is filled
to the rim
And, the road less-traveled appears
to be grim
Making for your chances of survival
appear to be slim
When you from TEMPTATION act on
a whim
Only to be left hanging, out on a
limb
Seek Ye the Lord, and Trust In Him...

The Road Less Traveled No More
The road less traveled, an ideal place.
If the road less traveled be.
But so many others have found this road,
It's no longer less traveled you see.
If you want to do something really profound.
If you'd like to heed the call.
The place where you'll find true satisfaction,
Won't have a road at all....

Dear Mother
"i shall be saying this with a sigh"
Robert Frost, the road less traveled
dear mother,
kiss me as you tuck me in at night
kiss me in the dark when i'm scared
hold me tight and kiss away my cold
dear mother,
when i grow up
i'll cherish every kiss you ever gave
and remember the ones i washed away

Hurry Darling
Writing you a love letter
Making up a song
Missing you so very much
Darling don't be long
Thinking of your shining eyes
Your crazy little grin
When you breathe into my ear
The way I feel's a sin!
You reach for me again
And I lose all my will
Wrapped up in your arms
Gives me a fine chill
I'm writing to you darling
So hurry don't be late
Take the road less traveled
Cos I can hardly wait!...

Empathetic
"I shall be telling this with a sigh"
Robert Frost, The Road Less Traveled.
Mom
took me
to try on
my first pair of
contacts -back when the
soft ones weren’t yet for sale.
As I struggled to endure
a feeling like stones burning in
my eyes, I looked up to see my pain
mirrored in Mom’s own face, wet with her tears.

My Journey
I may not know the whole story of Jesus Christ,
I have only been to church once or twice.
I wish I understood something I can not see
For all my friends they believe.
Even though I stumble and fall
Straying from Gods Lessons is not a sin at all
I know every time I come back,
he is holding my hand.
Showing me and guiding me through this land
As I continue along my way,
I know God is here to stay.

Who Will Save Me
The drum beats silent
to the sound of my aching heart
He runs his callused hands across my olive skin
Bitter is my heart
As I lye quietly in my bed
dreaming of a life I may have had
If only I would have looked the other way
The road less traveled they say
My weakness was his gain
Come with me he whispered
let me show you the way
Now I lay choking on my blood wasting my life away
Who will save me now
Even God seems so far away....

I Wish-
I wish rocky mountains mountain peak
Rich soil valleys bittersweet
~
I wish grizzly halos cowboy old leather boots
Smoke signals dewdrops mystical loops
~
I wish grassland red carpeted beach
Walks I wish genie lamps sunburst reach
~
The road less traveled
I wish I hadn't a flat tire
No desire
My surface has unraveled
~
I wish bargain hunters would be the pray
I wish the summer would come at Winter's day

Reason Without Rhyme
Never give up before you think that you might be giving in.
Something must be said for the beauty of a day
Life is the unfoldings of itself every morning
Would you not live to replace wanting not to lose the life?
I hope that your sense of adventure
Takes us to an intended destination
I will not ride the road less traveled if it leads nowhere!
No sunset shines the same
See beyond your next turn
If I could take back time, I would not waste time doing it....

Two Roads
"(Two roads) diverged in a yellow wood and I choose the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference." Quote by - Robert Frost
As a child,
I did my own thing.
Not following others was my rule,
I traveled the road less traveled.
As time went on,
so did life.
I wore what I liked,
not what was in fashion.
Many compliments came my way,
being myself has paid off.
One might think the road less traveled is lonely,
I have found it filled with creative people....

The Road Less Traveled
The road less traveled...
helps us to embrace uncertainty,
teaches us to trust in tenacity...
makes us to reflect on reality,
and shows us the beauty of rarity.
The road less traveled...
causes us to crave creativity,
brings us to the hill of humility,
takes us to the peak of positivity,
and shows us the depth of diversity.
The road less traveled...
Brings out the best in us
gives us foresight and focus...
teaches us to shun hocus pocus,
and helps us to find inner locus......

The Road Less Traveled
The other day I had a "first", two flat tires.
Could it have been worse?
I was on a narrow country road and
driving very, very slow.
Suddenly my car made a loud pop
and then it fell. The right side dropped.
I drove a bit further with a little hesitation
and fortunately reached my planned destination.
I got out of the car and said, "oh no,
on this lovely day I'll need a tow".
I must have hit a pot hole.
Two thousand dollars I had to pay.
The road less traveled can stay that way.....
