The mosquito is an anomaly
Its brief life spent in ferocity
Buzzes, stings, draws our blood
~ Revels in tortuosity
To become the flame,
we must agree to dissolve,
in the void of nothingness.
Love in love with love,
for the sake of love alone,
revels in its own fragrance.
As my tortured mind revels over time,
the slowly decaying layers of my soul,
things begin to show,
everything your not supposed to know.
The thoughts I try to hide,
as I sit bidding my time.
Raging waters know only turbulence; the calm smooth sea revels in tranquility.

Based on Proverb 29: 11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. (English Standard Version)
Moon revels as a glamorous queen
Lending night its celestial sheen

The cantilevered soul
looks up--
Wonders at the mood,
Strikes out alone.
Reduces
All to stone.
He revels in sight;
He sees beyond.
To see or be seen is
his motto.
Truly he will fall
From that old wall
and break
not gently.
watch you heart at the cross road
because there's no holding back
and there getting the war
the war they have requested
and to win i'm going to need your soul
to win this war outside the light
the light blind you to more than it revels

Moon morning mean at dawning by
with wrest winter the field tree
great ground glances from any posted are
revels reface refuse, not heaven
deny deeply delight, not of birds’ sings
melody must mix with the dawning
Souls by eminent feeling are aliveness.
child revels throwing
a pebble in the calm lake
stillness gets disrupted
rings of sparkling ripples gleam-
in perfect circles expand

A beautiful mind
Brilliant thinker
Poetic words capture everyone's attention
Consumes knowledge
And revels in it
Life surpasses this vessel
Circumstances superceede the thoughts
Reality takes a visit and moves in
Stimulation miniscule
Stuck quielty behind a desk
For you are like a summer rose
against the wind your face unfolds
nothing there is like nature chose
for the memory one remoulds,
golden sunrise upon the morn
captures the diamond on the dew
nature revels in fragrance worn
scented hint of florescent hue.

Entrancing song,
A feeling arises from deep
Within it was for long.
Melodious song,
A mood revels from inside
Of where it was all along.
Expressive song,
A memory flows from afar,
In which I once belonged.
Saddening song,
A thought reminds from ago
About times I once known.
Sound currents
invisible caresses
on sensitive skin
resonate
Rays of sunlight
dazzled display
adorns brown curls
radiate
Pirouette whirls
personal cyclone
lifts off
surges up
crests the arc
internal elation
revels in the moment
timeless
Professing my love for you with recognition
giving your heart a knead
thanking you for kindness in return amission
taking you in with speed
equanimity revels in my passionate quest
meeting my needs to charm
allowing me to notice romance fully with zest
greeting me with a smile disarm
Don't make a fuss,
but here comes Gus.
Canine extraordinaire,
he smokes cigars, eats Milk-Bone, no cares.
Although our bigger dog, Beau, has got game,
Gus can play as well with him, just the same.
But, when Beau wears him out,
Gus doesn't pout.
He just lights up a stogie-
and revels that he's the alpha doggie!
Within every tree lay a spirit,
the sprite that cares for it.
Feeding, watering, nurturing it,
ss if it were its’ own offspring.
The hidden caretaker spirit
that endures within the wood
echoing a tree’s elation
at it’s own existence as it
revels in the gentle caress of Mother Earth.
Time abides
the exuberance of youth
Revels
in hormonal histrionics
Settles
into a relationship
Endures
Love's fever and frost
Meanders
through its moments
Embraces
it's partners
in life's final dance

gorgeous pink castle with rainbow unicorn
glittery dazzling flakes of winter beauty
sparkle as they flutter down over and over
shaken by Nora, a delighted princess
she revels that she can hold her kingdom in her hands
smiling as her ballerina dances in rhythm to the floating flakes
snow globe magic enticing an eight-year-old girl
She lives among the vibrant water lilies,
She lives in the clear, freshwater pond,
She loves to tend her flower bed of peace,
As sunbursts tend the gardens of beyond!
She revels in warm, rife saffron sunshine,
Relishing the finest of two exotic worlds,
Like canaries plunge, upon grapes to dine,
In gold summer shine or moonlight pearled!
A picturesque scene revels in snow
As the snow globe turns skaters whirl
Arm in arm with their handsome beaus
A picturesque scene revels in snow
Lighted houses lined up in rows
Welcome mats 'pon verandas unfurl
A picturesque scene revels in snow
As the snow globe turns skaters whirl

Centre Court in England
Would take center stage in Queens.
The placement of the e and r
Revels the way one leans.
The same applies to colors.
Seems that Brits are very fond
Of that u that colors do not have
On this side of the pond.
I recognize these differences
(In Britain recognise)
Should cause no offense/ offence
In any English speaker’s eyes.
You were crafted from grace and intellect
A masterpiece of resilience, standing firm in your unwavering independence
Yet you have an innate desire
To be adorned with affection, cherished like royalty.
Let me be the jester in your court,
The fool who revels in devotion,
Showering you with laughter, draping you in love,
For your joy is the crown I wish to serve
Within every tree lay a spirit,
the sprite that cares for it.
Feeding, watering, nurturing it,
as if it were its’ own offspring.
The hidden caretaker spirit
that endures within the wood
echoing a tree’s elation
at it’s own existence as it
revels in the gentle caress of Mother Earth.

EVERYTHING IS NORMAL
The backwater
dreams is catching the winds
to become a whirlwind again...
The past daydreams
of recovering time
to live the present...
Rest
revels in silence
to replenish energy...
the night shines, the stars
with the sleeping rays of the sun
borrowed for free...
Pain heals,
when the scars dry
and become just memories...
I'm going to write me a love song,
and each word will rhyme with you,
it's going to be about me all along,
yet it will have everything to do with you.
and as I sing out loud the pretty words,
you'll know how much it revels,
as it will be super sugar coated,
thick with sweetness you can't refuse,
it'll prick your ears and teased you'll be,
oh this love song i shall write for me!
