True enough
Do you play your own melodies?
Yes and I choreograph myself nightly
Sharing only enough to intrigue
Retaining my enthusiasm for life
CHARM
Around her neck, hung a delicate charm
The deepest blue against a pale pink skin
Both flawless, yet retaining some mystery
Two perspectives on beauty there to see
The potential for rising passions to begin
Yet drawn into a pervading sense of calm
In the midst of many, we walk alone,
inking the vast void with our heart’s emote,
recognising no truths are etched in stone,
so retaining soul’s vibrance we free float.
Images shape shift as dream forms that swirl ~
Through the mists we watch flag of love unfurl
with bliss as the centre
let us draw a circle
boundaryless and expanding
enveloping existence
in vibrational equivalence
whilst retaining uniqueness
of the wondrous starlit sky
creating therein a pulse
of transformation and renewal

seemingly with ease they escape my mindset.
I’m just Wright’ing a poem not my memoirs,
did God not want causing me to forget?

Disregarding pieces of my face
As she cracks into large crevices.
Losing the façade of retaining my youth
Fighting for nothing
Caring not
Giving up now
My soul cries out but I care not
Anxiety turns within
Giving up without a whit of disbelief
Seeing my age for the first time
Liver spots laugh
turncoats in autumn
the stupendousness of leaves
sprinkle my driveway
golden as topaz

plotting how to be crimson
sneering at walnut
