Often, thoughts skip by like shooting stars,
seemingly with ease they escape my mindset.
I’m just Wright’ing a poem not my memoirs,
did God not want causing me to forget?

Jim Slaughter March 19, 2023 at 9:28 AM Been there, Tom. I have learned to keep a pad and pen very close at hand when a fleeting thought roars by me. But I simply cannot compose on a keyboard. My muse just won't stand for it.
