Perception, Infinite
perspective w/ out want,

world w/ out want.

A myriad of bright, gently swaying wildflowers,

carpeting these surrounding hills,

resolutely climbing out of the darkness....

Time is resolutely in motion
       In no captivity or subjugation

Let not the caravan of life halt
Love is a journey not a destination

Premium Member Refurbished Nursery Rhymes: Old MacDonald or Afoul of Vowels
Old MacDonald had a farm
With some noisy critters on it.
They mostly mooed, or neighed,
Or clucked, or brayed,
But some stayed
Resolutely mute,
I'm afraid.
It wasn't his equines,
Or bovines,
Or fowls,
Or anything lodged in his barns or corrals,
But a couple of rather recalcitrant vowels.
The "e" and the "i" and the "o"
Answered the call,
While the "a" and the "u"
Stayed conspicuously AWOL.

Said Death
"When I come for you resolutely,
Don't bend before my deadly summons.
Tarry not like a galery slave,
But like a courteous host behave."
Said death.

"When I come for you,
Never lie dreading under the dust.
Know it's only when the seeds rot
That the florid sprouts."
Said death.

"When I come for you,
Strut like an indomitable foe.
With hands swinging and head held high,
To be welcomed by the angles of sky."...

Premium Member The Tree Stood Where It Stood
Just a young sapling
With an unhindered view,
It chose its position
And then grew where it grew.

Just a singular tree,
Not in a forest, copse or wood,
Preferring its own company,
It stood where it stood.

A tree in its infancy
Coping with life’s highs and lows,
It takes on all challenges
And it grows where it grows.

Standing resolutely alone,
An independent tree,
This somehow reminds,
Reminds me of me....

Premium Member The Journey Thus Far
One step at a time, we have come afar,
resolutely flowing on in prayer,
no attachments remain with which we spar,
graced by beauteous hues of bliss flavours,
vaporised self our devout soothsayer.
Childlike wonderment, beholding surprise;
moment to moment, magnetism does rise,
revealing and concealing the divine,
directly imbibed wisdom, makes us wise,
as head and heart, with throb of love align.

Premium Member Kiss Ups Are Annoying
I am braver than I was yesterday for sure.
My diabolical motives and sorted out missions decidedly pure.
With hidden agenda I sneak up for little attack.
Hi! Says kiss up employee. I have your back.
Being boss is no fun in any good way.
This “hi” makes me grumpy until end of day.
All kiss ups are annoying with nothing to say.
I resolutely decide to try my plan again tomorrow.
Kiss up is there again, much to my sorrow....

When true love came, my heart was free.
None other had a claim on me.
Aware true love may not knock twice,
I was prepared to pay the price.
True love stood there resolutely.

An innocent, I couldn't see
it was the truest love to be.
Love made no effort to entice,
When true love came.

With an unfettered jubilee,
I searched my heart and found the key.
The time had come to throw the rice
For love made of sugar and spice.
When true love came.

Tides
the crescent moon shines on the sand
the tide washes on the beach
my lover and I walk hand in hand
on all that used to be

a sand dollar that is broken
lays underneath my feet
and days gone by rest resolutely
on tides that softly sweep

many days pass quickly
tides ebb and they will flow
and memories of yesterday
will come and they will go

on a sandy deserted beach
love falters out at sea
and tides of passion bring them back
on all that used to be...
