Dear Mr. Sweet Sixteen,
Close my eyes and embrace your dream
Inferior to superior is forever my theme
Blowing out the candles, mind on the green
Eyes reopened, to see what my faith will bring

Much needs to be done,
The mind sees these,
Days are past gone,
The body is on the lees.
The mind’s door is opened,
There’s a stream of ideas,
What’s closed is reopened,
He wished he had the Midas.

I talked about what hurts
And it's so surprising what it is
How so much hides in shadows
I talked about what took the hurt away
How that was light
Wounds are reopened
Maybe they'll heal
I miss the best part of my day

the secret
dread..
reopened,a
chance
happening..
trouble
disclosed-
the discovery
alienates,
the spell
persists
long after
it had dispersed..
reality remains..

Beautifully Broken
Scares Reopened
Shattered Soul
Time Takes It's Toll
Darkness Spreads
Always Keeping Hate Fed
Ill Intentions
Seeking Vengence
Stolen Joy
All To Eager To Destroy
Eyes Wide Open
Never Changing
Forever Remaining
Beautifully Broken

I do not know?
she took a child
who had been shut down by negativity
and reopened her dendrite highway
encouraging her to remember life
when she thought joy was a possibility
the child who had been afraid to tiptoe to the edge
was now able to kick off and fly into outer space

recap from my chest
reopened from your cold
attack the memories hurt
the worst scars left on my
brain it just seems to rain
nothing but horrible failure
on the one who plays me
in this sick life movie and
the harsh reality of together
forever means for now
the lights dim and cut!

Were you invited
into Zion
Or have a ticket
in advance
Have the doors
for you reopened
Is your history
fit to chant
The torches glow
in sequence
When you make your
entry plain
A hymn sung by
a minstrel Sage
Your welcoming

Emma was the name of my best friend
Once long ago in grammar school.
We learned, played and ate together.
Even our lunches we would pool.
When school reopened in the fall,
I looked for her. She wasn't there.
I knew nothing of schools rezoned
Or of adults who didn't care.
Nor how a beloved friendship could
Be sacrificed for common good.

Last week mostly bare
Buttercups now share
Tulips here and there
Rodents taking care
Near the foxes lair
Spring has woken
Ground unfrozen
Parks reopened
Rivers swollen
Butterflies
In the sky
Multiply
Wildlife
Is rife

We all have a devious side
It tries its best to hide
But it sometimes slips out
It hurts the innocent without a doubt
Glaring in our iris
Is something evil
Only to have it seep out on the ones you love
Blood spilt and wounds reopened
Tears streaming..
We all have an evil side
Some show it more than others
But one way or another
It'll come out..

I do not know?
Poetic reveal,
the future of open mic;
No dress rehearsal,
it will once again express
the art and soul of this town.
Graveyard fantasy,
the zombies woke up on fire;
Full of pent up rage
aching for a place to roam,
a mindless crowd to devour.
Flamethrower control,
empty heads have been cut off;
Hard floor reopened;
Now the freethinkers are back
to destroy with their improv.

FUSION
Breathtaking brook braving brazen bruises became broken
Entered estuary emanating exuberance
Reopened rosary resonated rhapsodic raga
Together these tides tried to tackle tortuous terrains
Flowed far fathoms freely fertilizing fallow frontiers!

Verse
Today, I sit 'mongst thoughts of erstwhile sorrows,
Which intermittently ooze from my intellect's hub;
Reminiscing three young men granted no tomorrows,
Bequeathing displeasing whispers I'd like to scrub.
Reopened today, are aggrieves, from past years,
In seemingly blameless doings they were caught;
Causing a mother's eyes to be ensconced with tears
Exposed was man's detriment to sin's onslaught.
in memory of three young men from my town.

Other
Amy Ingram, who lives next door,
like nobody, you've met before,
always talks with a whirring sound,
and walks an inch above the ground,
all mechanical that's for sure.
She reopened the hardware store,
mending microwaves and mowers,
AI hope for our run down town,
Amy Ingram.
Red capped residents, soon got sore,
said "this ain't our town any more",
but some of us stuck to our ground,
we wouldn't let them shut her down,
I'm just glad I've got to know her,
Amy Ingram.

When doors were reopened my heart and soul continuously berated for you, I don’t want to lose you again. Hoping these feelings are mutual we’re both starting over and climbing this ladder of past mistakes seeking to forego and keep striving to rebuild a new chapter of our lives. Relationship are not perfect full of ups and downs feeling like a roller coaster ride disagreements and agreements constantly seeking solace and nurturing to continue to grow repeatedly at full bloom foregoing.
