Premium Member Distant Thoughts
This memory to tremble ever soft
A misty vision of a face once kissed
I'm whisked to midnight skies and stars aloft
A sheltered afterglow now reminisced

Rainy Day
Drizzling down from irate clouds
Slugging the streets with force
But like a chirpy bird
A joy these sounds enforce

Outside the kids rejoice
As I reminisced my past
How long did those days last
Till these chirps started to sound like noise...

In the Midst of Shadows
A solitary quiver
Gave me the shivers ~
I realize a pining
Swell passing
Through my limbs
Love is lost… or is it

Found… Walking
Amongst the city streets
Feeling the shadows of the past…
A thought blossomed
I reminisced of your strength......

Cheesecake Sharing
Sharing the cheesecake

Dating with my sweetheart frequently
sharing cheesecake while kissing intensely
Committing love and making witness
The madness moments of cheesecake sweetness
Pledging that whenever we grow a hatred
Those intimate moments will be reminisced...

Breakfast Love
Breakfast begins with out a care
 Waffles and applesauce
 Thats what love is
 This mourning here with you
 I just reminisced
Our first kiss
 And this mourning
 It's applesauce to you
 And just because
 I hit life's pause
 I now give sauce
 And it's because
Of the things you do...

The Letter
A smile crossed her face
A sparkle lit her eyes,
As she read his letter
Her heart soared to the sky.

Words for her, and her alone
Enough to make her blush.
His words, how they caressed her
The thrill, the heady rush.

She could feel his warm embrace
She remembered joy, and bliss.
She closed her eyes, and thought of him.
Oh, how she reminisced....

The Kiss of An Aries and Capricorn
Say a prayer for me sweetheart, Be my salvation in the darkened night- For you’ve been my light since the start, Yes, that brilliance shining so utterly bright. I need not the shadows lingering in mist, Just the hope I bestow as I reminisced. You bring me a soft beautiful sight, As an Aries and Capricorn kissed.

Xvi
XVI.

They spoke kindly those.

They reveled fondly of theirs

Of tender times reminisced.

Journeys made in fellowship.

Deeds for the sake of deeds.

Forgiven solely to forgive.

They broke bread partook of salt and imbibed wine.

None can speak ill of such charity.

Of this a query arose.

Thine was not of those.

Fireplace
Couched in the season,
by a fireplace ablaze.
The winter with it's snowy soft edges,
tasted bittersweet
-since I reminisced once more
of just how pleasing it was
in the golden summer days,
when I felt a lovers heat
-her soft gentle fingers
upon the nape of my neck.
Hesitating, and lingering
-then she gave me a peck.
Yes upon my lips a kiss.
Oh yes, how I reminisce....

Girls Gone Wildlife
Trippy turtle was kind of slow today
I told him to get out of his shell in a while
So we went to party with smirky the Hare
Who was way too high
He didn't even remember inviting us there
Turtle and Hare reminisced
About the days when the wild was free
When trees were sacred
I told them as long as I need money to provide for you both
I'll always have a chainsaw strapped to my back...

Dejavu
Her inability to love.
Love like bitter sweet honey,
Humming to the song of her heart,
One she has long forgotten the lyrics.
A reminisced feeling of sealed Déjà vu.
And she struggles.
At sight of change,
Freedom of her own mind.
Inability broken.
She is afraid.
A violent ringing in her ears.
Her hearts song screams
As she willingly closes the door
With a tender smile....

Basement
I fear to be Here
You make me feel spooky
Your greyed hue laid me in cist and
Chaos of headlights gore the peace
they reminisced,
How he dumped me like a trash
I repel to feel bygones allures,
What tasted like Himalayas.
When you painted me in blood and prised,
Like a god of devour.
And that one night, it purloined my
drape, frilly and virginity
Here in this basement,
inside his car with mirth!...

Premium Member Hellfire Gala - Captain America and Doctor Doom
After the fireworks,
Doctor Doom and Captain America had a little chat.
It was at a desolate place,
And they chatted here and there for this and that.

Doom noted that they are both the faces
of their respective nations.
While cap reminisced
about his long icy vacation.

Then there was talk about the Moon landing
and the significance of Mars
But more so about a better tomorrow
as they gazed upon the stars...

In Fair Spring Air
In passing on this bright spring morn,
I smiled, I nodded, said “Hello”:
The mom glimpsed over, grinned my way,
Still wheeled her stroller through warm sun
While, back, I glanced and reminisced
On younger days that filled my life,
On years of kids, the toil and fret;
I glanced once more, resumed my walk,
My wife beside me, hand in mine—
As one, we strolled through fair spring air,
And relished many springs ahead....

Lifetime of Lovin
She laid beside me
entertained my mind
our thoughts were of love
and memories so fine

once more our hearts embraced
in the quiet we reminisced
of our passionate past
and the youth that we miss

tender touches and sweet kisses
so many we had shared
in each others arms again
showing how much we still cared

after the night warmly passed by
we pleasantly realized
we had enjoyed a lifetime of lovin
and another sunrise...

Remember the Old Days
R-emember the old days,
O-nce you are all alone;
N-othing you can think
A-bout but yesteryear's zone.
L-et the old days be remembered,
Y-ou can do it in silence;
N-othing you can recall but the unforgettable ambience.

L-et the past be reminisced
I-n complete serenity;
P-lacid place and time

Eagle Strike
The mountains are covered by violet mist
No one knows they even exist
Yet the legend will persist
In old ballads reminisced

As mountains are high golden eagle flies above
He is pure power but also pure love
With talons that can pierce steel glove
And mouth that can shout a high octave

Beyond a mist bridge appears formed by nonlinear soul
The eagles’ force it will extol
Eagle strike lifts the soul
And great power becomes permaximum of all...

Papa's Glory
His feisty manner,top notch brain
How I wish it was not the truth
Will always in our thoughts remain
The lord of good!
I know you tried
To cling to life; your selfless actions
among family gone before, the clouds are moving
But I pay respect not in grief
A feeling of ambivalence
But moment of clarity hits me,
Never will I see him again
Finality,finality dawns,it's a little too quiet now
Take your place in glory, you will be reminisced....

Grandpas Glory
Wish you were here,
Though your time has come;
The days seem so shorter,
Since you've been gone.

You have not failed us,
As you have gave it your all.
Family will now guide you,
No need to fear the call.

You have chose selfless actions
Among family gone before
The clouds have started moving
The skies are all so clear.

So take your place in Glory
As your fight is through
You will be reminisced furthermore
For this moment and forever more!...

Premium Member The Peaceful Yeti
By Joseph Christopher Liguori and Robert James Liguori

The waves broke and the sun shone,
As he walked on the beach alone.

Abandoning the shore and heading towards the trees,
The leaves remained still in the calmness of the breeze.

Not a sound could be heard from above or below,
While he made his homeward stroll, ever so slow.

Upon reaching his abode, he clambered into bed,
Closing his eyes, he reminisced of what nature said.

Premium Member At the Pawnshop
I was in the local pawnshop
When a lovely watch I spied
Just like the one my mother wore
When she was my daddy's bride.

She lost it in our big house fire.
I remember how she cried.
Mama reminisced about it
Until the very day she died.

I knew then that I would buy it,
I simply could not turn aside.
Daddy never could replace it
Though I know how hard he tried.

The price was truly outrageous
Mom would have been horrified.
My prayer is that generations
Wear that golden watch with pride....

Red Spring Cherry Blossoms
Finally came upon such beautiful scene where the eyes cannot resist.
With such pure fragrances taking away the sadness and the purpose of life,
Lies under these red cherry blooming trees, the sadness and painful endurance of each falling blossoms.
Each leaves and flowers reminisced of my past.
As the spring passes by, nothing is left behind.
I pick up the red blossom flower and smile, as the spring vanished,
I faded with the season, shedding the last drop of tear surrounding by red blossoms....
