The Letter
A smile crossed her face
A sparkle lit her eyes,
As she read his letter
Her heart soared to the sky.
Words for her, and her alone
Enough to make her blush.
His words, how they caressed her
The thrill, the heady rush.
She could feel his warm embrace
She remembered joy, and bliss.
She closed her eyes, and thought of him.
Oh, how she reminisced.
