Tape Measure
The very deep breathing of
the tape measure continues to
affect my
USB holders cha-cha rehearsals.
On my garage floor, the ants hold daily dance rehearsals~

O-rganists were formally trained how to play the musical instrument.
P-erseverance and sacrifice
E-xposed his obedience to God's will;
R-igid schedule was observed,
E-very drill was filled with
Z-eal.
Dips and TURNS are all part
Delicate footwork too
Dedication a must . . .
Daily l o n g rehearsals
D i z z y spinning is fun
Difficult leaping moves
DELIGHTFUL the applause . . .

Fourth Place
This live stage show requires born actors
There can be no rehearsals
No extra “takes”
Mistakes cannot be corrected
It’s all part of the act
Some play the leading roles
Some just sit in a dark corner
Afraid to act, afraid to live
Some create happiness and laughter
Some sorrow and tears
Old actors exit
New ones enter
The show goes on regardless
Some can see beyond the stage
Some cannot
The Audience Watches….
(I wrote this when I was 17)
The world is a place of illusion,
An illusion which mortals would never comprehend
This is a place of vision, of submission
Of something they would never understand
……………………………….
Life is drama,
Without any rehearsals
Without any comma
Or any refusals
………………………..
Love is another thing
Incomprehensible
Irreversible
Unrepeatable
Unthinkable
Another common fling
…………………………..
And deatth
No words
It always pours
Never rains….
Just unbound, the death rate.
Red roses had no qualms. Numbers,
unapologetic, they die or commit suicide.
Death had no tombs. One by one they
cross the stream, sinking half, floating half
in a cynic system, heedless, emaciated,
eyes looking beyond, cavernous.
They kiss the doors, will not comeback,
pilgrims of grapes or hemlock, dead on the toes
of rehearsals, dried milk in breasts and pounding
of metaphors. The mankind stripped of songs
drifting from one forest to another.

Repeat performances.
A Carousel of entertainment? Different
Emotions encountered by one's life's ups
And downs.
Anger, Discouraged, Joy, Malancholic,
No fear, Objectively, No regrets, take risks.
There are no do overs attentively to live one's
Life.
Live your life to the fullest, It will be some
Loses, wins accept it without any malice.
Portray to be the best of one's ability of Life's Rehearsals.
