Curled under my covers
Hiding the world from my senses

The home divine
I thought was mine
And studded with jubilation,
Was not my own
The lid was blown
A refuge with a misconception.

My heart takes refuge inside your love,
My happiness inside your smile.
I feel you in my spirit and know
I am safe with you here.

Unforgiving eyes
And the
Mynah Bird claws
Of
Earthbound peoples

bundled up tight.
An intruding sight

To all death shall come,
Yielding refuge from greed,

Enticing souls comprise

In God's creation,
Injustice a place never had,
For that reason
In Man's world, has it, refuge
Found!
