Monoku Prayers

Those who live in grass huts speak no prayers for rain, but do bless the dew…

Jacob and the Limping Luck

Jacob don't snob,
All others died but you just limp,
Contain your ego within realism,
Obsession discards good fame,
Beware of your luck joyfully.
Form: Acrostic

To Conquer the World

Jail realism in upper prison
Quarantine idealism
Organize posthumous case
Against Aristotle and Plato
Then impose your ideology
Without any ceremony

Hold tight to realism
For if realism perishes
Death is a rife volcano
That can not vomit.

Hold tight to realism
For when realism dissolves
Death is a land mine
Awaiting to blow.

Let it flow, let it flow

Epigram

Epigram
I do not write lyrical poetry anymore
leave that to young hearts not damaged by cynicism,
which is poetry’s biggest enemy; lyrical poem
should be free of realism and have a dreamy quality

Absolute Truth
Takes F'ing
FOREVER
To figure out.

Out. Out. Out.

Yes, and that needs some

Insistent Bottlenecks.

Hang on...
I'll get it.

Realism

A hypnotist within reason;
Charading as an apostle;
Crooning carefully along
Tablature of the mind.

A realism portrait,
In a landscape, never entered;
Like Moses, and the Promised Land;
A symphony never finished.

Always rehearsed.

Hetty,loved by simple Adam Bede
Yet her heart felt another need
Her head was turned by the fickle squire
With many a' consequence so dire,
Her actions set the village life afire.

George Eliot's novel of 19th century social realism-Adam Bede

Premium Member Alone In A Crowd

Alone in a crowd, together with you, can be awfully good. I am a cheerful pessimist and so clearly misunderstood. Eloquent silence, no dull roar and some festive tranquility; you are my magic realism- my comfortable misery.

Realism

I only rhyme things I can see,
Facts irrefutably true
Like the elves in the shade of a lollipop tree,
And fairies of green and blue.

To “civilization” I’m blind:
Cities and factory smoke
Are scenarios out of a lunatic’s mind,
And “progress” and “peace” the last joke.

Trump Elevetation To Popularity

Trump Elevetation to Popularity

Trump popularity is extraordinary
Draws those of low income and ordinary
And what we never know
Who next on will throw a crushing blow
Attitude between ist's and ism's does vary.

This includes all ism's except realism
and catechism. Jim Horn

there be
a sound of silence

they be

fresh like tomorrow
and so vibrantly alive
wild, wild vase of blooms

still brightening homes
with memories of sunshine
and the hint of scent

lovely like sunset
on red paths to yesterdays
of green butterflies

enchanting wild hearts
with their realism and grace
eternal flowers
Form: Haiku

Under Siege

constant reminder
the failure I am...

I can stand here and I
hear your ongoing demands...

your disappoints...

your total dissatisfaction
this realism-

your life you criticize...

back off!..

I've heard enough
my only disappoint met
is for you...

...I never was enough...

Premium Member Reflecting Skies:

In the twilight Of her eyes, There was magic, Of reflecting skies, In the tenderness Of her touch, I find realism, O so much. And in her loving And soft voice, I fly to the heavens As I rejoice. As for her smile, It does belong, In every part Of my love song. /|\

Realism

Do you notice?
In every unreality,
People read minds.

Every lie is transparent,
They call every bluff,
"You're not okay," they insist.
As if you didn't know.

But if you deign to test
The real world,
of course

They are
Completely
Oblivious
Always

Stop reading my mind.
You make me second-guess.
Are you real?

A Spare Murder

watching the eye of a murderer
wondering how to spare a moment
waiting for the right time to commit insanity tactis
fright comes towards a supplement liar
one significant gesture of realism comes present
alert to a murder victim with no surprise
as a continuance of murder is spared
as that person realizes what's real upon truth
