the couple no longer heard the music
bodies knew what to do,
they were undressing each other with their eyes
unaware of anyone else,
reacting to pulse of the wild
Be yourself
Enchant from a distance
Have a true dream
Avoid ghoulish competition
Passion in anything
Past lessons learned before reacting
Yes, it’s only beautiful if it’s different…
A big concern during excavations
from granite hillsides is just
keeping limited mishaps near
observed palladium quantities,
reacting swiftly to utility vehicles
wanting X-rays yields zeroed.
your green twitching legs
making music in the grass
not so silently
pinging out at me
and sticking to my shoulder
reacting too late
dive into the grass
your enormous hiding place
i smile at your stealth
Let me take you by your hand, lead us to our ending.
A place where we can embrace, released from company.
Where our DNA would saturate, slowly mixed together.
A reaction worth reacting to, long-standing urgency.
cut off
deprived
magnetized
sensitized
to crave
desire
ache
the longing
touching
caressing
skin tingling
reacting
sensations
heightened
devouring
sole passion

The lion in me wants to roar my truth
tearing the invaders apart with her teeth and claws
the lamb in me holds back.
reluctant to show her hooves,
knowing the value of being understated
and waiting before reacting
I hear the lion roar.
Artifice-cultivation
Cracking pitches, up at bat
Impactful, this journey to fame
Reacting, claims to my own name
Control, my poison cup
So let go as follows
untying the knot
Wading through crystal water
Unearthed root systems
Free, complete
We all grieve in our own little way but this was a bit unusual
Fireworks a wife put in her late husband's pockets were really beautiful
A heart-felt display
A loving gesture I'd say
Maybe reacting harshly but they had problems irrefutable
Did he have to toss me out here?
Alleys are not comfortable places to be dumped off.
Noting a bad feeling, I keep my mace close.
Gory things happen to those who are unaware.
Even if I cannot see someone, I sense them.
Reacting to my fear, I keep my back bristled.
Haversack hopes bring bitter crack
Next to nothing is brought back
Recalled promises all are lacking
Adding nothing but subtracting
Public messages are attacking
Better dreams start retracting
The finish line is protracting
People gather and start reacting
This is
not a world for me.
I am no
good for it.
First of all,
I can't be young again
and can't
hope. I miss
hoping.
Stand around
in the market
useless in my space
reacting to the
pardon me
of those who seek
what they need.
They are the pleasant ones
who smile in their waiting.
shock
electric, astound
zapping, traumatizing, reacting
speechlessness, surprise, spellbound, thrill
bedazzling, gaping, impressing
majestic, awestruck,
awe

FIREFLY
Luciferin in
abdomen of a firefly
reacting with air
forming warm glow of glowworm.

Sometimes I drive to work
listening to nothing except tires rolling
and air conditioning blowing,
few thoughts since I got out of bed,
just reacting to the world and road,
can feel brain shrinking, no heavy load,
no heartache or pain, worries that clatter,
even my duties ahead don’t matter,
till I park, and the day shifts to start.
witnessing without reacting
in as if a response arises
it is simply noticed
as a nonevent
a mere wave
appearing in mind
or felt within our body
both of which we are not
thus void-centric is our stance
an ever present stillness continuum
moment to moment in time thus
treading mindfully on earth
leaving no residue

The poet’s heart so solitary
Never to be understood
It bleeds with ink, fluidity
Releasing as it should
Others can not grasp the beat
Nor, can they tame the pace
Reacting as if faced with fear
Yet, not wanting it replaced
For in the heart there lies the truth
The poet’s artistic way
A quality so loved by all
Understood? No, not today.
She, life, is for living her,
not for thinking her,
you have to forget yourself,
gliding in personal and
societal avenues,
acting and reacting
attracting and rejecting
forgetting where and when
was the start
and where and when
it's the end.
Live it like it's eternal,
die tomorrow but today
plan what to do
the day after tomorrow.
No one is reacting as dramatically as me.
Because no one is struggling as dramatically as me.
Some unspecified illness-
To them is not real.
Maybe they are not conscious of their callousness.
But it still feels like I must reach a crisis for action to be taken.
Whether the guilt falls on me or them-
They will still be my own scars.
puckered
i like your shapely legs
your thighs are awesome
so muscular
your pek pek shorts hug you
as i want to do
me naked
my body reacting to you
i want to be there
between your thighs
to explore you baby
i love you and your legs
from F*cking Upside Down In a Blazing Avro Manchester Bomber – Poems from My Life and More
Nick Armbrister
Stunned by her beauty, our tongues would not work
We could not stop staring, she was a flaming goddess
A princess, a queen, the quintessential woman
We admired her from afar, afraid to get closer.
Her beauty might dazzle our eyes out.
Who is she? I asked, when I regained my speech.
Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty and passion.
Validation that I was not overreacting.
Justice
Subjective, questionable
Building, creating, reacting
Colony, anger, happiness, perspective
Identifying, acting, laughing
Cumbersome, vocal
Talking
Insurmountable
These feelings seem to overpower
As your breath seduces me
Calls to me
Excites the very part of me
That seems to always seek more
And needs more
I am enamored
Brilliantly blinded by beauty
Sensually, silently seduced
Reacting quietly, yet fervently
Heated to reactive tendencies
Letting my mind erupt in fantasy
As thought turns to reality
I am scared of medications
They terrify me
because of the effects
they have on me
They rarely do what
is expected,
and almost never do
what they do for others,
for me
Because I have the
dubious talent of
not reacting to
medications in
expected
or usual
ways
Pills that
knock three hundred
pound men out for
seventeen hours
keep me wide awake
for seventy-two hours.
