D a N G E R

Did he have to toss me out here?
Alleys are not comfortable places to be dumped off.
Noting a bad feeling, I keep my mace close.
Gory things happen to those who are unaware.
Even if I cannot see someone, I sense them.
Reacting to my fear, I keep my back bristled.

Watch out for strangers! However if you see me, I expect a hug ;)

Another excellent poem, Caren. Your acrostic is danger, so well described. I stay clear of alleys!
