Squashin' squirrels all the while....

Old Melon
There once was a hunter named Frawley
Who lived in a shack, outside Raleigh.
His dog, funny but true,
Would only hunt honeydew.
The dog was a true melon collie....

Premium Member Really - Well Raleigh
REALLY?  WELL RALEIGH!

There once was a man from Raleigh
Who liked to share food with his collie
 On his knees one day,
               while bent over the tray,
                   it bit off his nose by golly

Trump An Example of Excoriable
Trump an Example of Excoriable

Trump is example of  being excoriable;
Distinctly determined to be deplorable,
And a sad case,
We should erase;
High filuting and horendiously horrible.

Aha. 6,200. Will be gone for a capable
of days trying to escape Florence by
going to Raleigh area.

Maya Angelou proclaiming
She knows why the caged bird sings
While a raven Says forevermore
Brings to mind Edgar Allan Poe

Sir Walter Raleigh did inspire
with his poem "Like truthless dreams my Joys expire"
Emily Dickenson gave us many wonderful verses
"Apparently with no surprise" being among the first

For sonnets with poetic flair
None can compare
To the great William Shakespeare...

What if the world is really flat?
Or if we fall off and that's that?
Really, would you ever go that far
Like the world is round and all that?
Do you think the fifteen-hundreds

Could be right, flat is all we'll get,
Raleigh, Columbus were a lie?
Up until now I would have bet
It didn't matter where we sailed
Science would be our safety net.
Except now Trump has me confused!

Tears Were Shed
Tears Were Shed

We did decide to take a tour
And ere to go were not sure;
Maybe to Baltimore and then back
Or Phillie and see Freedom Bell crack.

Arrived at Norfolk and saw naval base;
Then off to Raleigh we would race;
After that to Ashville did have to go;
Ended up in snow and car went slow.

Went to Wilmington to see a friend
Which is were trip came to an end;
We were all tired and went to bed;
Died and over grave tears were shed.

Devon by County
Devonshire by name
Exeter the capital
Part of England's frame

Her coat of arms
That warrants claim
Displays a red crowned lion
And Naval fame

Three sea faring Sirs
Are Devon born
Chichester, Drake - Raleigh
Nautical strong

We all come from somewhere
Not where we reside
Its from back in the past
On our ancestors tide
So where ever you are
And where you are from
On this beautiful Earth
We all belong.
