As the sun vanishes and the moon appears
A surreal quietness surrounds.
As my love flutters away and loneliness replaces it
A surreal life circumvents.
a tiny slice
of quietness
--just a slither
upon my plate
--too small
for most to see
is all i need
that my soul
and spirit
requires.

Drenching down in dark,
quietness would sadly hark,
the pleasure of turmoil,
to befall and cruelly spoil
the peace and calm,
singing a cursed psalm,
ceasing smiles to sway,
taking the radiance away.

I cursed the mellowness in me
To be louder than the sea
Flowing until the waves are rough
Limp-legged are the mermaids love
I filter quietness in trade for rebellion in me

The strength needed no glory

Asking breeze came diving entrance
For giving hope in joyful kindness
Lively mind not offering peaceful quietness
Ruining silent thoughts, uttered vain whispers
Xanthic year, zapping virus, hopeful days, why so late?
That only I can see
I faced this lonely road alone
I walked this blind street
With a faultless mischief
My fears withheld within
A stranger to myself
So I embraced my shadow
And prayed for quietness
in my head!
