Bring Fire To This Wind
Children of the dawn
Bring fire to this wind
Lovers love again
Maker of this flame
We remain the same
So quiet in this storm
Lord, open up your arms
Where is the fresh cut wood
To kindle this fire
Bring fire to this wind...

The katydid clings to my chair
Utters not a noise
A golden sun peeks from beyond
Through gray clouds only choice

The white illumination shines
Gives a glow under clouds
As fog settles in the hollow
Making a coolness proud

Wonderful time of solitude
Quiet before a storm
Noises of humanity begin
And a new day is born ...

Quiet
HUSH ....

it is always quiet after a storm

                                                  HUSH.....

Mother Earth has gone to rest

                                                  HUSH ....

                                                  quiet...

I Hear the Storm
I hear the storm
I feel the wind push against my back
I touch the rain from the sky blue door
You fill the weight of my empty heart
This starry night begins
You exist in every part of me
Lord, so quiet is this storm
Young leaves break this hollow ground
Once more, I shall embrace thee
I know this light is gone
Follow these words unspoken,
Surrender to this love unbroken
This time, I said, I hear the storm...

January first twenty thirteen
This New Year's first day nearly gone
It is warm, cloudy, unsettled_
Don't know what will be shown

It looks like snow, but much too warm
Coyotes' pups yap in woods
Someone cuts a treee for a fire
The sounds float through greenwoods_

There's an eerie feel in the air
Not sure what it is now
Is it the quiet before the storm
Or the still of day_wow!

Written late January 1, 2013 out on the porch...
