The katydid clings to my chair Utters not a noise A golden sun peeks from beyond Through gray clouds only choice The white illumination shines Gives a glow under clouds As fog settles in the hollow Making a coolness proud Wonderful time of solitude Quiet before a storm Noises of humanity begin And a new day is born

There is such a soothing, quiet feel to this piece. I felt I was sitting in my garden in early morning listening to the birds. Great job her. Loved it. God Bless, JB

I like my quiet time, and I get plenty of it. But if I get too much I usually wind up battling depression. Loneliness for me is extremely depressing as I am a people person. For me this is a sad write, Mrs Sara. Pretty but sad.
