This poem is brief and yet it makes me feel so relaxed....nice addition with the caps too. We are getting ready to have a very strong storm here in less than an hour...the sky is dark gray and it's as tho the wind is quiet...hushhhhhh!

Another wonderful write, Laila. I hope mother earth will rest or have a break especially in our country where storms come consecutively... love your poem and thank you so much for sharing. A blessed and grace-filled day always. hugs :)

I like the repetition of the 'HUSH', it really identifies with the rhythm of the poem. Such is the nature of our existence to weather the storms for that relatively brief moment of silence. Thanks for sharing this, great poem.

I really like this one..Sometimes there is an eerie quiet before one also...Thanks for stopping by..Fire Ants were imported into the USA from South America..In South America they have natural enemies which help keep the population in check but here in the south in USA they don't have any enemies and they have spread out all over..They can't survival in areas where the ground freezes for 2 to 3 weeks at a time so authorities on insects think..Thanks for stopping by..Sara
