~ Obliteration
Wherever life breathes,
love beautifies everything
He has created!
Waterfalls nourish
what's lies underneath as ponds
hold their fresh water!
It's a Paradise
we have lost since their first sin...
let us take it back!
God needs our presence,
to walk with Him and obey...
we can be holy!
I stole my first kiss,
was running away as I
heard, “COME BACK LET’S PLAY!”
I’ve learned over time,
resist certain invites but
“NEVER A GOOD TIME!”
Went back to her house
thinking she was a good time
but I’ll never know.
Her mama was there.
Instead of coming, I went!
Haven’t been back since.
Old Times(quadruple Senryu)
I drift into past
I remember the old times
That`s hard to forget.
We walk on beaches
Hand in hand and Side by side
Smiles filled with passion.
Feel warm in bath tubs
Rolling on rumpled bed sheets
full of life and joy.
Can`t we have this back?
Old times of good memories
Which is unshaken.
STRAY NO LONGER (quadruple Haiku)
just one kind presence
soft voice and a caring way
on a dismal day
a day of hunger
a day of constant watching
each foreign movement
the boys had thrown stones
hiding place safe no longer
but then from above
this round jolly face
a voice would soothe the angels
he’s inside warm safe
The sweet crunch of nerds against your teeth
Are enough to tear you away from all grief
The colours, bright pink, purple, red
Taste like a rainbow when you are fed.
We eat them in class
craving the tangy taste
We savour them, ah
None go to waste.
They are all mixed up
Green with pink, yellow with purple
which makes them taste
Like heaven quadruple.
Intervals
Time
lapsing
repeating
a breathing space
respite from preceding activity.
An interlude that accentuates breaks
and goings on
preceding
silent
gaps.
Thus,
rending
beautiful
flowing music
enlivening auditory delight.
Giving patrons harmonious pleasure,
happiness born
through music
or words
paused.

Poetic form: Quadruple Tetractys
I will win this race I think forgetting that my body does not run.
I will dance my jeans off I believe forgetting I have a torn meniscus.
I will do a double triple quadruple skate move at the Olympics I brag.
My ankles groan, they are filled with arthritis now.
I will climb that mountain so high!
My lungs laugh, reminding me of our asthma
I will win all the marathons in the continental USA
Unless this frumpy dumpy flesh body holds me back.
