Intervals

Intervals

Time
lapsing
repeating
a breathing space
respite from preceding activity.

An interlude that accentuates breaks
and goings on
preceding
silent
gaps.

Thus,
rending
beautiful
flowing music
enlivening auditory delight.

Giving patrons harmonious pleasure,
happiness born
through music
or words
paused.

Wow x four!! You are on a roll this morning writing poetry!! Well done! Thank you so much Dane Ann, it is nice to see a comment on an older poem, ...sometimes the older ones are lost and left behind! Thanks again! Love, Carrie

Interesting topic for this Tetractys. Nicely done and yes sometimes we need interludes to enjoy the music, etc. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my poems. The one about the "Living Waters" was inspired by Daystar. The other about the Prickly Pear Cactus was cacti that I saw in someone else's yard. I have not made the jelly or tasted the jelly even though I have seen it forsale in places like tourist stops along the road. Sara
