Writing loosens screws of tightly wound neurosis
into a plethora filled emporium of creatively flowing
psychosis
I sit silently
In the seat of psychosis
And watch my feathers burn
The wind whispers
Wicked words of blame
Lit by the light
Of self fuelled flames
Form:
When facts are misnomers
and life is just numbers
When the cards are stacked
and our conscience is hacked
When we elect kingpins
The house always wins
F*ck what they think
They think you are
P S Y C H O T I C
What they don’t
understand
Is just how
H I G H
you have become
living from your own

Buried deep in psychosis it rotted
All the while it schemed and it plotted
When faced with the truth
Its responses uncouth
The nature of it had been spotted
He all of a sudden experiences a new psychosis,
As he solemnly stands in the sunset in his grieving process,
Tossing onto her grave a thousand stemless red roses.
We live with inflation because of our President's contagion*

The focus of my poem is out of focus
Started out writing about this guy's psychosis
Then all of a sudden
My mind unbuttoned
Went down the path of penguins ferocious
Brains Weirdly Bunched
Angel touched and said I was touched;
When he and I had together lunched;
Naughty neurosis;
Plentiful psychosis,
And my brains were weirdly bunched.

I had this strange, incurable psychosis
Most of the time it was all in my head
But this bout was a case of trichinosis
Here I lie happily well-fed…and dead

Listen to poem:
Drac, Wolf, Frank, and Claude
Bela to Lon, doubtless psychosis,
Karloff insert he needs hypnosis,
those three murmured on,
awe night till scared dawn,
Rain unseen flights for diagnosis.

You’ve heard of schizophrenia and psychosis sure,
And you’ve heard of bipolar and how there is no cure.
But, why does nobody talk about the thing that is both?
The thing that also takes a mindset of growth.
Every place is
An Oasis
I see Your face is
on other faces
and your voice is
peoples voices
and replaces
Other noises
This is what I Notice
I think that you should know this
it feels just like Psychosis
Strange how psychosis seems to be the leverage for genius
Fragment the truth
bevel reality
Within the derelict wasteland of inspiration
the resolution will be found
That sinkhole reverts
and the illusion of truth can never be known
I'm on point of psychosis.
I'm haunted by silken dusk.
howls echo to wry Croesus.
reflects my deep-seated whimsy brusque.

Rhyme is a crime,
A misdemeanor or more.
And cadence is worse—a rhythmical verse
Is a felony critics abhor.
“Love” gets a shove
In the ash-can where Beauty “belongs”.
Psychosis is “in”—optimism’s a sin:
Down the toilet with heart wringing songs!
I underwent osmosis
to get rid of halitosis
Developed a psychosis
frightening neurosis
Signed up for group-hypnosis
just got a diagnosis
Downing meds with garlic juice
made my breath atrocious
Madness
Mild Psychosis
Grips fragile Precipice
Escalating Insanity
Purple sirens poised beneath numb bleached eyes
Staring down white bulbs blanking glare
Piercing screams flip the surge
Neurostatements

a throbbing ache emanating from the heart
infecting the blood that runs though its veins
pulsating a malicious toxic venom
contaminating every thought
distressing and impeding psychosomatic pain
mind over matter in a dark defeatist manner

Delusion must be a comforting thing;
To see the world just how you like.
To give you purpose every day
And let reality take a hike.
But don't be troubled
When I say that;
Delusion
Is just
fine
For the psychopaths and the egg shell brained, swimming in life's brine

written words by James Edward Lee Sr.
A familiar sunshine
Fragile grins and warm hugs
Wilting trees
A shifting decade
It starts to rain
Strange conversations unnecessary
Youth decayed and childhood dismantled
A slow shadow play towards the end
Crippling wind
Monotonous basics
My Truth is an anomaly
In the end, we are all a dying story.
