the corner of
her eyes
give us
a token of
her love
a gentle glimpse of
this
providence morning
Green shoots unfurling promising their gifts
Earths bounty for all creatures
Gives providence divine.

Can you count the stars,
Or the sea shore's grains of sand?
Can you measure love,
Or the innate worth of man?
God above can, and He has.
Drifting off untethered,
until caught by my soul
Redirected to providence

Sir Edward Kennedy,
May you rest in peace
Never lend your wealth

Drifting off untethered,
I was caught by my soul
Redirected into providence,

By chance,
with providence,
the randomness in life,
metered,and free verse becomes a
sonnet.

from the
top of the hill and
there,
i
stood
asking the Lord,
is this real
to witness
a providence

shared my heart
with heaven
What can lies create, conceal, remake
That truth doesn't sanctify as pure snowflake
What could mouthed trust in Providence provide
That pride now, once desperate youth, would hide?
pray and pray daily
that is your work
you people of the robe
tell providence to come down
to deliver material aid to the poor
do not touch it. It’s not your work
prayer does it all

rain came in drenched streets
showered life, near-drowned plants
Heaven's broom, harvests' groom

puddles in garden
odd beauty, surplus, providence
water sinks low, rises too
golden dreams of reverence
awaken passionate providence
open-ended relationship
I love you more than
--- your heart and soul

preaching their providence
and they think they do good
but they don't
for they take you will
and feed you tales

Original Poetry?
As poets are we to be condemned?
For every verse and rhyme
To check its providence.
Do we have the time
To produce the evidence
Of copyright, so as to fend
Off the stigma and shame.
Never to be able to publish again.

Time to declare I am over the hill
as I hurtle down, filled with
gratitude; a spring in my step
I am a suitor again;a paternity suitor
filled with thanksgiving and joy
The providence of God delights me
on the birthday of my daughter,Tanya
