A Token of Her Love

the sun
peeking from
the corner of
her eyes
give us
a token of
her love
a gentle glimpse of
this
providence morning

Harvest

Green shoots unfurling promising their gifts
   Earths bounty for all creatures
   Gives providence divine.

Can you count the stars,
Or the sea shore's grains of sand?
Can you measure love,
Or the innate worth of man?
God above can, and He has.

Anchored and Whole

Drifting off untethered,
until caught by my soul

These Gentlemen of Camelot

Laid to rest,
Beside his
Two brothers,
Here, we nest,
In providence
These gentlemen of Camelot
Sir Edward Kennedy,
May you rest in peace

Until That Day

Never lend your wealth
or nobility to others
What can’t be given must be kept
—till providence comes to claim

All Pieces Again Whole

I was caught by my soul

By chance,
with providence,
the randomness in life,
metered,and free verse becomes a

There I Stood

as i
glanced
from the
top of the hill and
there,
i
stood
asking the Lord,
is this real
to witness
a providence
sunset
oh lord
i
shared my heart
with heaven

What can lies create, conceal, remake
That truth doesn't sanctify as pure snowflake
What could mouthed trust in Providence provide
That pride now, once desperate youth, would hide?

Pray and Pray

pray and pray daily
that is your work
you people of the robe
tell providence to come down
to deliver material aid to the poor
do not touch it. It’s not your work
prayer does it all

Weather Is Perennially Important

i
rain came in drenched streets
showered life, near-drowned plants
Heaven's broom, harvests' groom

ii
puddles in garden
odd beauty, surplus, providence
water sinks low, rises too

Providence

Providence
When
 They tore down
The statue
Of the dictator
The remains
Was two
 Rusty tubes
Hanging
in their
What happened?
To the tube
We will never
Know
Perhaps
They were used
As drain pipes

Released Love

Our eyes look into our souls
One touch gathers providence
Capturing essence of love
Within both our hearts

Free Verse:

Gloriously big pecan tree yields,
Nuts keep falling like soft cool rain.
Mother Nature provides for her own.

For Six Thousand Years

they've told the tails
putting down providence
preaching their providence
and they think they do good
but they don't
for they take you will
and feed you tales
o how sweet they are
like joan and all before
to late they for out
who they served

Original Poetry?
As poets are we to be condemned? For every verse and rhyme To check its providence. Do we have the time To produce the evidence Of copyright, so as to fend Off the stigma and shame. Never to be able to publish again.

Providence

sometimes
when your alone
the ghost
of time
is in the mirror
years slip away
you have
to ask yourself
what do you
have to show
for all crimes
of love
and tears
you go
a bit insane
flower
on the wall
but its better
to feel pain
than to feel
nothing at all

Happy Birthday,To God Be the Glory

Suddenly she is all grown up
Time to declare I am over the hill
as I hurtle down, filled with
gratitude; a spring in my step

I am a suitor again;a paternity suitor
filled with thanksgiving and joy
The providence of God delights me
on the birthday of my daughter,Tanya
