Serenity

Sunlit Windowpane
Is warming up
On words
One by one
As they progressed
With nature
On sunlit leaves
Adjacent bogainvalia
Petals. Leaves

Melancholy

I brought you down with the saddest chord.
No harmonies to up lift.
A soul to sore.
The E chord was saddened with the lack of cheer.
As we put our face down in a couple of beers.
I heard your sighs as the song, slowly progressed.
Through the chord of A, we might have undressed.

Premium Member Spa Treatment

I watched you walk away that night
Then later had a dream
We were sitting in a sauna
Wearing robes while enshrouded in steam
Then one thing led to another
And soon it all quickly progressed
'Til we were only left standing enshrouded
I think you can figure the rest

Premium Member Uh-Oh

Jiminy Cricket and goodness sake,
when I first saw her, I did a double take.
I can’t explain, I don’t know why,
something about her caught my eye.
As days passed and time progressed,
the more she shined and impressed.
A treasure if there ever was,
I really, really like her,
more than just because.

Progress

Progress
By R.e. Taylor

Man has moved on
Progressed
Beauty no longer matters
Only function
Canyons of glass
With walls of stone
No more flowers
Or window boxes
No more balconies
Or cobblestone streets
No more places to walk
Or talk in peace
Has man really progressed
Or has he lost too much

Evolution

Once we were hunter-gatherers tribes grouped outdoors before the days of yore now we're hunt and peckers each cooped indoors on personal computer keyboards and way back when we'd communicate banging on the drums yes since then we've progressed today we're all fingers and thumbs

Lies

Tomorrow, I thought, when I awake,
I shan't tell lies, I'll refuse to fake,
Therefore, going about my daily routine,
I told the truth most honest and keen.

As the day progressed hour by hour,
And so my senses began to tire.
People reacted in a most angry way,
Hence I promised, "Tomorrow I'll lie all day".

A Dark Stormy Night

It was a dark stormy night, and I was trying to
sleep as the thunder rumbled and lightning flashed.
as if I was being photographed by the sky, while the
storm progressed with more tortureous and thunderous
rumbles . The fear of the sky that held the clouds of
darkness rolling over my house, harassing me while
I tried to sleep...

Happiness

I never felt so safe and secure;
Antonio it's you I adore.

You do your best adn your so we dressed;
baby you make me feel so blessed.

At first I thought we would just mess;
but quickly our relationship has progressed.

Who would have guessed;
that this here is the best.

So baby, let's go on our quest;
and add to the family nest.

On the ride to daliy chores,
As clouds their bellowing did
I thought of when I'd seen her last.
Then a streamer of the Sun
Caught me in the eyea,
I thought of when last we spoke
While wondering with ardent sighs.

The worK progressed with steady speed
Till afternoon was bright,
A segment of a rainbow arched.
Her thoughts came with the night.

Premium Member Would Life Be Same

Why life begins with a deep cry,
And not quietly on the very sly,
What is nature’s game?

If beginning is wrought with pain,
Even before life’s ensuing strain,
Who should take blame?

If we were all born in good cheer,
And life progressed without fear,
Wouldn’t it still be same?

Home

At nineteen
I wanted to live in Colorado
Till that first weekend I spent
in Cheyenne

At twenty-five
I wanted to live in Montana
Leaving Yellowstone
as Glacier took my hand

At thirty
I wanted to live in Alaska
Within Denali
where the Kodiaks roam

But as the years have progressed
I discovered
All I ever wanted to be
—was home

~ Three seasons, breathing ...

Exhale, inhale ... two transform -

          One, keen, waits breathless.

One year of change weaves intervals, progressed,

Three churning life, while two ... flank life at rest. ~

Progress?

If I could watch the sun set behind the sea
instead of looking out on old factory gates
If I could listen to the sound of birdsong
instead of hearing the constant traffic's drone
What would I give, to be free to choose?
to cast these morbid scenes away?
to live where it's green,?
to breath air that's clean!?
to get back to a life before we "progressed" to this?
I would give all that I have!

FOR THIS WAS HIS FIRST LOVE

SHE DID'T CAUSE HIM ANY PAIN.

JOY TO A HAPPY HEART WHICH LOVHE

ALWAY.

SO MANY DAYS & NIGHT ADDED UP TO

YEARS HE SO ONLY THROUGH HIS OWN TEAR.

SO TIME PROGRESSED WITH SO MANY FEARS.

HE ASK HIMSELF ABOUT HIS YEARS.

Troubles

The morning brought a sickness
The little one cried in pain
Taking her to a doctor
Was easily said than done
As the day progressed into noon
Troubles poured in twos
How the whole day passed
Couldn’t recall in this swoon
The run to the hospital
And trouble from every nook
Seemed like life was not worth
Living nor could be left behind
For so many lives depended
On me to see they ran smoothly

My True Feelings For You

When we first met,
I wasn't sure.
But as time progressed,
I wanted you more.

As our friendship
Slowly grew,
So did my need
To be close to you

As i found out
your feelings for me,
I abandoned all doubt
And in joy, almost screamed.

When you first held me
in your loving arms
I then felt so safe,
Protected from harm.

To this day
I anticipate
The love that you show me
Upon every date.

Mending Your Broken Heart

It's a rocky-road journey
Hold on tight
You're not alone
We're with you

As promised, day will get better
Allow yourself the pain and grievance
There's no turning back
Look forward
You've progressed enough

I can't wait for the laugh
When it's over
You won the victory
We couldn't be any prouder

Presently, don't punish yourself
There will come better days
Hold on tight
Keep the faith, darling

I Wish I Had the Answer For Cancer

I wish I had the answer for cancer Nana.

They said stage 4 my heart fell to the floor on the fourth floor.

They said it progressed to stage 5 and I know we are all afraid to die.

The look on her face ripped a piece of my heart out now I have a empty space.

She choked up and started to cry deep down inside I screamed why god why.

Cancer is no joke so here is some marijuana smoke to toke giving it a try.

Snow Fall

It came in on a gray sky
 snow flakes on the fly,
then as the night progressed
it found no ease or rest.

Cold winds blew in
 to silence the traffic din
and then in its giving
 the snow fell like oblivion.

A white out
 in silent shout
of winter's entry
 amidst children's assembly.

Hanging heavy on the branch
 the flurry held me entranced
and in the passing night
 accumulations filled a child's delight.

Vestige

Your own concern, my own respect
so voluntary with adept
contingency, some verve its met
does see the evermore's beget!

I see you everywhere, my soul has kept
its vestige in pure grace, without funds left.
As honing nothing as in its own love leapt
has greater vision from bestow, God's deft!

Because my hands are clasped in wit
like magnets to concession's fit
and Holy intercession knits
a prayerful course, progressed acquit!
