Take nothing for granted in life whatever you do.
Enjoy the precious time that has been granted to you.

Haiku
Waiting on good luck
Is like riding a stick horse.
Both waste precious time.
That time is precious is a truth but let me sweeten it’s myth
by adding time is made even more precious
by those we choose to spend it with.
When do we find the time?
Time to love time to seek?
Will we meet each other at the creak?
Where would we go, how would we know?
Time is precious, time is a treat.
Any sum of time we spent lamenting over past failures,
Is precious time that is stolen from our future successes!

Time is precious and a luxury,
It is rare to buy anywhere, the time,
Every person given, equal quota of time,
If a person spends, his time over you,
Honor this person weighing high!
Taking into mind
All these beautiful lines
Just to waste my precious time
Sitting here is
Not enough
I'm not going
To just do "stuff"
The time is ticking
Way too slow
Why cant
I just
Go?
Read and study
Educate your mind
Fill your world with knowledge
Do not waste precious time
Opportunity is present
The sky is the limit
Be willing to enrich your world
That my friends is the spirit
Occupy yourself
And exercise your mind
Fill your world with knowledge
Create your own sunshine
Be willing to learn more
Continue to get ahead
Do not waste precious time
Go for that gold instead
The time seemed to stop
but it kept on moving,
one year after the other...
today, it is four.
I am glad that the time we had
always stays year after year,
but I wish we had more of that precious time.
I miss you, Dad!
Put everything to good use
Make your world shine
Do not waste precious time
Keep everything in line
The journey will be challenging
Hopefully, it will nourish your soul
Continue on with your studies
Reach for the gold
Have grand thoughts in your heart
And put them to great use
Do not waste precious time
There is zero excuse
Opportunity will not always be there
Get at it while you can
Success awaits you
Just follow through on your plan
When I started to write this rhyme
I thought that this very instant
Was my own, precious time
My presaged, peculiar moment
Maybe I was in my prime
Perhaps it was my promised minute
But the feeling was so sublime
That I would remember it forever
o time... precious time
precious moments... live each breath
many miles of smiles
sadly... if only
life with no prohibitions
nature once decreed
life at the present
human inflicted deadlines
why... life will live on
Ladies
Of an age
Take up
All my time
it seems
Precious time
I give
Sometimes more
Or less
Pale blue eyes
Or brown
Matters not

Into
Cool water
Refreshing time
Watermelon treats
Bright fireworks burst into
Dances under the moonlight
Days filled with beach activities
Sharing an icecream visit with friends
Fun in the sun, precious time with loved ones
7/7/23
the sky turns pale blue
above horizon brushed pink
fallen moments shine
I am struck by what I think
where did the precious time go?

The sun rises, the birds wake.
The day begins so smoothly.
Appreciate this precious time.
A few hours into this day
All becomes jumbled with the rest.
No one has their own thoughts,
Until the next waking day,
When
For a short while, the world is yours.
Always find a way to occupy yourself
Do not waste precious time
Get at it and go with the flow
Things will change in the blink of an eye
With each day that passes
There is something for you to learn
Let those lessons teach you
So that way you can earn
You were like a queen
Of a fairy tale
Looking for a king
To love and feel well
I was a poor guy
But fell in love with you
I waited for you
To come and love me too
I killed my precious time
Dreaming fruitless dream
Now I repent for that
Devastating whim
Time for reflection
May I not rue, when life draws to an end,
Invidious, mean words which bring distress
Nor sigh, that precious time I did misspend
On frivolous pursuits of happiness.
Rather let warm benevolence hold sway
And solomonic wisdom guide my way.

The Black Monolith
David J Walker
Its not just another days
Insanity
Predictable
Excusable
Lost reality
A commonality
Of precious time tossed
The clocks chime
Is just another number
Once lost
Twice added
to the darque vapor
Of the past
Why should she stay
Look at the way how you treated her
She gave you everything
But, you were insincere
You never showed her any appreciation
All you did was waste precious time
Dissension has reared its ugly head
There is nothing but dark clouds in the sky
The young foolishly dream of old age.
Time wasted on futile pursuits,
an illusion of freedoms,
vitality fleeting.
Pages torn like flesh
are ever gone.
Precious time
turns to
dust.
