The Devastating Whim

You were like a queen
Of a fairy tale
Looking for a king
To love and feel well
I was a poor guy
But fell in love with you
I waited for you
To come and love me too
I killed my precious time
Dreaming fruitless dream
Now I repent for that
Devastating whim
