her heart pounds
as he speaks to her--
sleepless nights

angry sea pounds cliffs
pines bend to Pacific winds
beautiful woman
high powered romance
salty air, dangerous curves
"Like a heartbeat the drums pounds in a ceremonial ritual to cleanze the body and soul anew"
Musta lost five pounds today
hunger hurts
but I suffer anyway
stomach shrinks
along with guilt
hope this improves
the way I'm built
Your suppost to be
looking after number
one
Than why do you feel
like number zero?
Zero pounds
Zero calories
Equals zero regret
Each word cutting through
ten pounds of flesh…

winks at me
eat here now

hungry bear
buffet line
plate piled high
ten pounds plus
waistband stretch

My gal got a rose tattoo on her bum
Which I admit was a cute display
But when she packed on too many pounds
That rose blossomed into a bouquet!
My
Heart pounds
Missing beat
Gasping for breath
Spasms erupt, sobbing, hot tears gently glide.

If we could schedule
Wake-up calls with the Front Desk,
We would still hit snooze
When we hang up and sleep in
With pounds of the cures we love.
Rain pours
Thunder pounds
Light races time
Rippling streams wash over

Contest: Write me a Rippling stream
I came across a coral reef
a seahorse glimpsed
sudden taste for beef
a pregnant pause
'pon gulping down
that dainty horse
~ all fifteen pounds
midday storm shakes house
rain pounds against windows
house remains quiet
dogs hide under sheets
cat tucks herself under bed
house remains quiet
Rainfall pounds on the roof,
sounds like it's dropping critters.
can't hear myself think,
and it's giving me the jitters!

My child.
Innocent and fair.
Life's hand has not dealt a blow.
And yet I fear
That one day
Innocence will be crushed
As life's fist pounds home
Reality.
My heart pounds steadily
pushing warmth throughout my insides
but I burn with a frozen fire
my skin pin-pricking in the cold night
I've never felt more alive.
Thunderous rain pounds,
A whiff of a baby's neck...
alas! veiled vision.

There is a famous bear by name of Poo
Without daily honey what would he do ~
He might become lazy
Or even go crazy ~
Losing a few pounds is an option too
At five fifty pounds he was fat
he looked silly just wearing a hat
Mrs. Clause was turned off
when his clothes he would doff
so no kids would inherit that hat
Current news reports say keep your pets in
Enormous hawk is grabbing them up
I do not fear this said my Cousin Lou Fin
Five hundred pounds is the size of my pup
Heighten tensions
Realistic pride
Lotto 2 Pounds
A Dangerous Confronter
What Is 2+2
What is 21 Questions
Or 21 Seconds
London of 1969
Is Realistic and True
Look at me
Skinny as a stick
Railroad thin
I don't see that
I see fat
135 pounds
Is what they see
195 pounds
Is what I see
Mirror, why do you lie to me?
in night's dark of rain
walls closing in about me
within my heart it's loudest
that vicious silence pounds
