Digging For Money

For what is hard, to find in the ground
and something so rare, for people to hound
why is this shard, worth a pound
it just has a glare, for the rich to be sound

Pound Of Flesh

Living in one
renting the other
Owning them both
then to discover
As owner I’m captive
the tenant is free
In debt to the banker
—remortgaging me

Found Another Pound Which Is Still Around

Found Another Pound Which Is Still Around

Will remember what we had found;
Had been another additional pound,
Food taste;
Expand waist;
Wouldn't you know it still around.

A Pound

I feel a pound in my head
The festival of the gods
A big festival like i said
Of goddesses and lords
Festival to all and sundry
To please the soul that's hungry
A festival pound in my head

Surf Sound Around Made Heart Pound

Surf Sound Around Made Heart Pound

There is something about surf sound,
I do love to hear when it is around;
On surfboard ride,
And then has dried;
Breaking on shore makes heart pound.

Premium Member Rum Pound Cake

Her first mistake
while baking cakes
was flavoring one with rum

Her headache pounds
and she found
some crumbs
around her chin

The cake is done
but she wonders now
why all the rum is gone

Pround Pound Cake and Waist Line Sieging

Was A Proud Pound Cake

Pound bread was splendid;
Was so sad that it ended;
Bring more I adore.

My poetry writing's reason
Is because it is the season
Doom I don't like a legion
My waist line it is sieging.

Took To the Dog Pound

I woke up one morning and there was no sound
As I got out of bed I looked at the ground

He wasn't there where was my dog
I looked in the rain and searched in the fog

I couldn't find him so I looked by the bay
And then I just relized he got taken away

Pound For Pound

from bank to skill
  and labor to love
 for sake of pleasure
and from rooftop to tile
   my list compiles a pile
as high and long as a miracle mile
 from brain to agility
from slum to nobility
I am willing to bet that
   pound for pound
I am better by the pound

Dog Pound Call Out

Just a thought for fans of Kdash,

K was outed by Dog named Snoop.

Video jus called her garden tool trash,

alerting brothers, he shovels the poop!

For the Chastushka contest.

Hardly political but Snoop really reflected upon the “culture” of K.

Props to Snoop Dog!

Dogs In the Pound

They're tapping on the glass,
 you see?
I feel like i'm some strange anomaly,
 Please someone help,
come to the rescue,

This magnify glass is burning my eyes!
 In captivity I'll wait,
Until one special day,
when the flashy bright lights stop inspecting me,
And I'll have a home for all eternity!

The Ball My Feet the Snowflakes Pound

The Ball, My Feet, The Snowflakes Pound!

That Winter's White, Covered The Ground.

A Bouncing Speed Of Step's And Stride's,

Till Springtime's Green's Along, Beside!

...And Now We're Rolling, On That
Springtime's Lead!

We're Rolling Like You Can't Believe!

About's The Springtime's Beat;
Is What Our Leg's Now Bring!!

Premium Member Not a Pound I Feel a Mile

when the mile
was never a mistake

My luggage is lighter
than a fistful of feathers

I don’t feel the rocks
through my bedroom slippers
or the grounded stars
pushing me into sand

You make room
for what I want to hold

You found me waiting
waist-deep in the shallows
where smaller fish
are already
where they want to be

selling england by the pound

Said emerald isle im sinking
the weight is culpable
hope and glory all gone
the tent cities array in London,
chewing the remnant of greatness
selling england by the pound
digest the news
the politicians have asundered
their nuances
first failed, they now kick in their equity cards
into the world of tv news
who tease the teasel
in this merry go around

One Pound Fifty

sun tanned unevenly, foxed
grimy fingers caress bruising
pounded by day's narration
churlish in onyx, was its hint
over feathered combs, see,
of flicked, creased pages
buried, stained words
were never read
while cold rooms grow colder
an author's sweat for nothing
stemmed the reader's keen
though skimmed at best
and your dilated pupils
captured out-of-breath palates
so I travelled second hand
yesterday, for just over a quid

If I Were a Penny and You Were a Pound

If I were a penny and you were a pound I'd prove myself to you I'd pick tons of me up off of the ground Until I was a pound too If you were a paper and I was a pen I'd write until you were filled I'd write down some secrets now and then I'd let the stories be spilled If you were the sun and I was the moon I'd fly around the Earth I'd go around Every Afternoon Until you knew your worth

Pound and Power

Pound who wants to Power assume
Shall the long search for it resume!

From this alone lots to presume,
Some of which could make someone fume:
Pound might seem a scary costume,
If election results rang doom:
In the primaries lost to Hume!
Loss at the polls appetite blocks
And the hugest dismay unlocks...

A Nude Pound would ascend Tower,
If this on palms should drop Power
A pound Bride Groom hold Bride's Flower,
If a condition for power.

The Ball My Feat, the Snowflakes Pound

The Ball My Feat, .... The Snowflakes, Pound!
