Premium Member When Heaven Aligns
Soft the night's whispers stir her heart
Fresh the air's fragrance paints her cheek
Bright the stars glimmer in her eyes
Shrill the loon's note in her cry

Love's a fair maiden when Heaven aligns
Fiercest of predators if portentous her signs

Portentous sky before the plum daybreak. Just as night frights vanish, fading away. Portentous sky before the plum daybreak. The beauty and awe of a fresh day sake What does it matter if you snooze or wake? Such grace from an endless danger display Portentous sky before the plum daybreak. Just as night frights vanish, fading away

No Extreme Faith
Extreme faith is not what our Lord desires.
Anger begets anger if you lend to bleed.
Destruction in the name of Heaven’s choirs,

There is no justification for any seed.
What treasure will be witnessed actually?
When will the bigotry end for any deed?

There are no holy wars to fight rationally.
Burning of any book is so horrendous.
Our faith is of love ever so exponentially.

Why would we want to become portentous?...

Tribute To the Rose Beloved Flower
Is the rose,
subtle tact,
sweet smell
 wonderful sense...
Portentous,
pink look,
pr yellow, white
 blue, black
 Manu colora,
elegant silence
in love
dialogue...
It is flowering,
petal
pinkish
rosy florid...
Queen of flowers,
uncrowned,
no corolla
passionate,
mistress of passion...
Offered
with flower love, proof of love
of those in love...
Delighted, fine gift
for lovers,
is and always will be,
rose, beloved flower... !...

Iris
Departure,
You farewell exodus;
And deter
You dashing aegis
For through the night,
You rest ageless,
And upon the light,
You mourn sage less.

Portentous
Is the prowess,
And act less
Is the iris –

For the sound of sight
Turns and thus,
Is the crown of fright
Mind and trust.

The iris is the kingdom,
Wisdom of welcome
Precious and seldom,
The hunter of fathom.

For it is sight,
And welcome night
Keeper of light –
The wonder invite....

Scent of Autumn

A scent of urgency carried on the wind
filled my nostrils with a whiff of a smell
I knew quite well, “Autumn was adrift.”

The trees, still green, didn’t fool me one bit
(Chatter as they will in the breeze.) I was attuned,
to that crisp, paltry air carrying the portentous message.

Fall was on the hunt, and now the days
would flutter by like leaves on the wind
then a wisp of snow followed by a squall
and winter would be here again....

Premium Member Tremendous Versus Pretensious
The state fair’s introduction of the speaker was stupendous.
Optimistic crowd thought expensive speech would be momentous.
He could have been fantastic, but he was way too pretentious.
It was soon clear that he was quite solidly self- portentous.

Cheap speaker, more heartfelt was the immediate consensus.
Easy words were soul-rendering, stupendous and momentous.
The pretentious, self-serving speaker, a sorry proventous.
Inexpensive one invited back as was clearly tremendous....
