Here it is the grey monster

Sticking it tongue

But surprisingly

Giving me verses.

"nightshade"

you are my naughty Nightshade
my love for you; you waylaid

     no need for melodrama
     my lovely belladonna

just stop poisoning the plans that we made!

The Poisoning of Octavian

Woe betide this waste of life
To whom the gods did give much strife
And now to end my life with much aharm
I drink this poison to join my loved one across the stars
My love im coming

Snaky Smog

Serpentine,

   sooty smoke floats,
      swirls slowly above
         shadowed contours
            of city smokestacks,
         darkening ashen fog,
      dimming early light,
   poisoning air:

venomous smog.

Gardening

I pull up weeds and dig them
Out by blade and hand,
Then gasoline for poisoning
To root them from my land.

The toughest, most resistant
Weeds are colored black:
The choking dread within my head.
I yank, but it grows back.

Lockdown

abhorrent aberration of freedom restraint
due to a virus toxic to taint
indiscriminately poisoning justification
fear mongering media increasing pervasion
bigger heads gorge greater merriment
whilst executing each experiment.

A Chef's Surprise

Yummy

A mouthwatering buffet that makes you drool

Getting sick from food poisoning is not so cool

                                 Yucky

Killing Mommy

Call the FDA we are poisoning Mommy
Wind to remind us she does breathe
Sun to remind us she does burn
Rain to remind us she is thirsty
Ice to remind us she does freeze
Support to remind us she cares for us
Call the FDA… before she goes away

Millennial Academia

The tragedy within the new
  school of ‘thought’ ….

To know ‘about’ everything
  —while knowing naught

Where universities foster
  professorial demise

Poisoning the young
  —with their fantasy and lies

Toxic Routine

this eight to five office routine

can turn one into a cretin,

while some find it quite bearable,

           others just think it's horrible,

stretching one's patience far too thin,

             poisoning the spirit within.

Premium Member toxicity alert

there had been no warning on the flask
no caveat for self-inflicted poisoning
just a devilish delusion of filling the void

it was not the corkscrew that messed it up
but bottle to mouth resuscitation blacked out
all emptiness until surrender meant hope

Rose Red

Rose, rose, my sweet rose red
doth thou see thy fate ahead?
The heavens cry dark arsenic rains
poisoning your fragile veins
Rose, rose, my sweet rose pale
the liquid death hath left thou frail
weak and withered, spirit worn
with stems turned black and petals torn

You Gave a Little Boy a Joint

You gave a little boy a joint to smoke.
You thought it was cool to see him take a toke.
I told his dad what you did and he called the cops.
Your days of poisoning kids are going to stop.
What you did was mean and it was wrong.
Now you'll go to jail and that's where you belong.

Komodo Dragon

K illing its prey with bacteria stained saliva
O n queue, it is patient as the blood poisoning commences
M aking deadly moves out of the savannah grass
O verpowering even the largest of beast
D evastating team of dragons eviscerate a corpse in a few hours
O n Indonesia’s Island it reins

Silent Killer

When it is mixed in food or drink,
It is odorless,colorless and tasteless,
And the symptoms of dose resemble,
those of bad fatal food poisoning...
It can also be given in smaller doses,
That produces subtler symptoms of
weakness,confusion and paralysis..

Deliverance

I FELL INTO THE OCEAN
OF YOUR EYES
THE BLUE PIERCING SEA
I SOAK YOU IN WITH FEVER
YOU FILL MY PORES
WITH MADDENING BEAUTY
I CANNOT PUSH YOU OUT
YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR
TOO DEEP INSIDE OF ME
I SOAK YOU IN
WITH FURY
POISONING MY BLOOD
WITH YOUR INTENSITY
INTO THE BRILLANCE
WE FELL
I SEE YOU IN FOREVER.

Blindfolded

Dying the slow death of political infection,
it hides within our words

As we try to run, and try to hide,
its plague a constant scourge

Poisoning the water, despoiling our thoughts,
all freedom it commands

Directing the folly, conscripting all joy
—our blindfold it demands

Alas,

The poisoning of Mother Earth

Untold

Suffering shall cast upon us

And

Upon our children's children

For

The blasphemy committed

Against

Our Lord's creation!
