Premium Member I Breathe You In

I breathe you in
           Deep within my soul,
I breathe you in
           Until I loose control,
I breathe you in
            You make me whole.

American Pie

It may be poignant,
  at its best sublime

But not remembered,
 —if it doesn’t rhyme

Premium Member I Dare You

The seasons cry out loud
I’m making meaning of the landscape.
I’m the calming of the winds.
Entangle me, I dare you,
You are the poignant sun,
I adore you in ten million ways.

Our noses touch 10-07-26

Galaxies crumble into your gaze,
charting bright shadows through a shimmering haze.
Beneath fluttering lashes, light learns to dance,
poignant and sweet, a breath of romance.

Half a bite

Fright In love is vain,
I dreaded to be a memory.
My Fall was tranquil, her Smile
impeccable, it rendered me poignant.
Too stoned to worship her imperfections
a statue I became.

Patient fingers skillful
Play ballerina notes
Press of staccato keys
Performing thousand rhythms

Pristine tinkling of chords

perfections,
               delicate
as gossamer:
the poignant
              preserve
of a finite heart

mandated...yet
stricken
     with a yearning
....so
        unatainable

Poignant Reflections

I watch you in my deepest despair
Falling from all you know and care
A life of uncertainty
Slowly driven down hill
Now my hands are tied
In vain, I cry
My tears fill
Pools to
Swim

This Is Love

Só love is this love
                       that poignant shiver...
                  cool without being cold,
                       warms up without being
                        war

Love Simply

It's love
                       that poignant shiver...
                       Freezes without being cold,
                       warms up without being
                        real fire...

Dream

What strange remembering
Is a dream.
What episodes of needed lies--
Shot by an inner surrealist,
Adding to the footage
Of poignant fact,
Teasing newly cast desires
With alternant endings
