All Too Fast
It’s happening all
All too fast
Before the fall
There’s broken glass

Before they go
Go away
I plead in vain
They will stay

Beginnings end
Before beginning
No time to spend
It’s now the ending

It’s too fast
Fast approaching
It won’t last
Moment poaching...

Bounty of Hell
Banks,
Financial assassins
Firing bullets
Of insolvency
At targets
Without cover
Raping with foreclosure
Killing with repossession
Preying and hunting
All trophies out of season
Poaching their eternity
From the bounty of hell

(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2013)...

Premium Member Nourishment Of Wild
Nourishment of wild,
we forgot where we came from;
It may be too late;

Destroying the sea,
wiping out the whole forest;
No regard for home;

Parasites feeding,
mono crops poaching the land;
Rich soil won’t come back;

Humanity’s ills
leveled with nature’s fury;
Violent minute storm;

It’s over in an instant;
The faithless now filled with hope....

Sizzling bacon in the pan
eggs are gently poaching
sausages hissing and spitting
fried bread turning golden brown

Toast just popped out of the toaster
fragrant wafts of fresh brewed coffee
cheerful tablecloth with vase of flowers
places laid await the bounteous feast

Be your taste just for a bacon sandwich
or if you like the full blown Monty
whatever you choose there is no denying
that the best meal of the day is breakfast...

You are craving for me I know,
Settling for dust even on snow .
Stop already ,I am coming you know .
All packed are swords ,
Peppered with rage of sorts .
You are to loose ,mark my words .

South has eyes lurking ,
With talks poaching ,
For the suderland cee who knows no revenge.
All ready are their booggy traps ,
So is east, the mother of whammie raps .
I was once on laps ,
Now relax .
I wont trip or relapse ....

The Scent of Vanilla
Cooking with garlic and oil
Chopping peppers and chives
Crinkling aluminum foil
Running water over dirtied knives

Cutting boards strawberry stained
Slicing apples and poaching pears
Steamy facials from pasta drained
Sizzling pops like lightning flares

Piping a French buttercream rosette
Cracking eggs with no loose shell
Waiting for lime jello to set
But nothing beats the most delicious smell

The scent of vanilla...

Chasing Immortality
old goat's on the mountain trail
banishing banality
up and down, o'er hill and dale
cardiovascular brutality
dodging bumps and grinding minds
punishing morality
smashing memories with each step
reinventing his reality
washing all his sins away
forgiving infidelity
on the peak or in the valley
poaching spirituality
arriving at a time and place
with figurative finality
old goat's on the homeward leg
chasing immortality...

Premium Member Endangered
Endangered species are around the world
Narcissus Bugei bulbous plant of Spain
Dabry's Sturgeon mostly now a dreamworld
Amur Leopard, Russian thirty-five remain
Nava's Wren from Mexico lost domain
Gorillas,  by intense poaching
Eurasian Lynx saved by reintroducing
River Dolphins hurt from habitat loss
East African Highland Shrew disappearing
Dwarf Olive Ibis, will always engross?

In honor of Dr. Ram's contest..

My Symbolic House
my symbolic house
my purple castle
invaded by red clowns
a dialogue
contradicting personal icons
denying synthesis
denying art
trespassing
poaching
unbalancing decentring crucifiers
tearing the paper they make of my mind
tearing tissue
cells sinew flesh blood
a pavlov’s laboratory
for a crowd
appropriation
depersonalisation
obliteration
constructs and betrayals ad infinitum
a teleological structuralism
for others

Tamales
Hot tamales door to door
Knocking on doors along the sun baked street
Ten inch sub rotting on the dusty ground
Souls breaking under my feet
In pile of money the politician rolls
Malnourished beg for more
Poaching saints from grassy knolls
Black ants devour the ranch covered sub they’ve found
Sewer gasses emerging from fractured concrete
From the skull of a timber rattler crawls a paraplegic spider
Corn tortillas rolled on the bathroom floor...

Elephants' Extinction
Poachers shrug off
their critics,
who say that they are aiding
elephants' extinction - the
people who are thirsty
for money from tusks claim
that poaching
doesn't destroy the world,
it only destroys poverty
and feeds their hungry families.
They press the triggers,
without foreseeing a wild with no elephants;
a nation with no tourism;
an orphaned elephant calf;
a beauty scrapped off from Mother Nature's creation....

Who Killed Cecil
Innocently lured off Hwange National Park
shot at with a bow and arrow
injured and confused
then tracked down
and killed in cold
blood with a gun

Cecil was killed on July 1 of 2015
whether he was murdered by a
big game hunter or a researcher--
the truth remains—such a friendly
lion did not deserve to die in a horrible way
conservationists and all good people are outraged
surely someone somewhere has to account for this
horrifying act of cruelty and other poaching crimes...
