Who Killed Cecil

Innocently lured off Hwange National Park
shot at with a bow and arrow 
injured and confused
then tracked down
and killed in cold
blood with a gun

Cecil was killed on July 1 of 2015
whether he was murdered by a
big game hunter  or a researcher--
the truth remains—such a friendly
lion did not deserve to die in a horrible way
conservationists and all good people are outraged
surely someone somewhere has to account for this
horrifying act of cruelty  and other poaching crimes

Ian Jones July 30, 2015 at 1:23 PM Well written and concise. I may be a duffer but I cannot see what anyone would get out of shooting any of the big game animals with a high powered rifle. Looks like the guy and his guide are going to be charged. I'd be more impressed if he'd taken Cecil on hand to paw but you need bravery for that. We should also show similar outrage at the killing of people. These animals are a much better prize alive and walking in their natural habitat.
