The Number Six
Six is the number that I see
from a magazine color ink
to be or the shipping and handling fee.
Six is the planner
of quantity and quality....

Cons-Piracy
It was original craft
Here comes unjust
Making out for cash
Setup mode to catch
Bring the sinner to judge
Include the planner cast
Conspiracies quash!...

The healer also needs healing.
The planner also needs surprises.
The giver also needs to receive.
The thoughtful also needs to be thought of.
The considerate also needs to be considered.

The Role of a Teacher Today
The teacher is believed
To be an all rounder
For a record holder in education
An educator, advisor, counsellor, planner, examiner and innovator
Just like a remote control
For some nonmachinerised, noncomputerised or nondigital devices
The 'nude' and innocent children
Born today going to tomorrow...

Plug a Poem In the Socket
I'm a planner I'm a scanner I'm a time warp spanner
and you better get outta my way
I can rap with the babies and the Baby Boom ladies
and I really got somethin to say
I been lovin ,I been fightin, I been rainbow writin
and I got it all on the line
plug a poem in the socket ,if you really
wanna rock it
it'll always come out in the rhyme...

Stopping For Roses
Sometimes I linger
over a rose,
no longer trying
to define
scent and beauty
barely keeping aloft
I have an urge
to sink deeper,
become one
perhaps
as some greater planner
always intended....
Colors darken
beneath the shadow
of my hovering form,
fearing to dip
too closely,
realizing myself
not yet
pure sky
nor entirely
selfless light.......

Now I Don'T Mind the Scars
grey hairs in addition,
and it is all my fault
yeah, i used to blame everything for everything on everything
it only caused me more struggle
that knowledge gained, i chose truth and a mirror
when i did, i went to work and STAYED THERE
now over a decade later, i am a kid at heart with pom poms and a luggage set
i have become quite the novice vacation planner....and it is all because of the struggle...

Dead Rat In the Road
dead rat in the road
flat rat in the road
as if placed without gore
more like a small fur rug
than a rodent
as it ran to its conclusion
not aspiring to end this way
the grand plan of a rat
no planner entry
to become - splat -
I wonder if it achieved
all it wanted to achieve
as the car stole the rat
so the clock is stealing me
wheels abrupt
hands gradually
both circling through time
... then somewhere
the rat is running free...

Nothing Secret
Nothing secret in this world
hatch any plan and share
your co-planner is the public
close all doors, window, ventilators
think and plan alone, mime it
God already knows your plans
and the great adversary watches
from the window in silence
tomorrow it is a pop music
in the streets of life
Nothing in this world, none at all
is confidential, secret
lie not to yourself at no moment
nothing is secret and totally hidden
nothing has immunity of disclosure...

Town Planners Are Watched
Town planners would us astonish,
When they rocks and hills demolish,
So as to new cities polish,
Their smart dwellers make less foolish
And it all turns out Bad Rubbish;
Reason to them all admonish
And Town Planning just abolish…
Town planners should themselves furnish
With what would a terrain burnish,
Not sensitive eyeballs punish;
Town planners watched by all eyes
Can’t afford to be that unwise.
As they neighborhoods garnish,
Their image sadly tarnish....

My Journey
Travelling along the road
on the South African highway
taking in the glorious sights
views that take your breath away
Here a Scot in an land
so very far from home
but a land full of history
in some ways like my own
This journey took mamy miles
to reach it's desired end
so following the route planner
it indeed became a friend
Going up Table Mountain
while in Cape Town
I got to the top
by cable car up and down
A great experience
An amazing journey
many memories
blessed is me!
