Love is the cacophony of life,
the stillness of your lover’s breath in sleep,

                       whistle
                   in the breeze

               love melts in a kiss
         blown with the ocean sand
           sun glorifies the moment

“deep love sets forever to be”

Salmon Song
I had a summer job at sea
The captain, the dog and wee me
A gill net set boat
And away we float
The salmon all caught with much glee

Most mornings on deck I would be
To watch the sunrise and night flee
My dog I must gloat
Could sing a high note
And he gave our fishes for free

Premium Member Butterfly Assignments
Queen of Caterpillars was nearly finished assigning butterflies
She did not need a consensus, but she wanted them to be happy
They were tossed into the winds according to placements.
Scattered to the farthest curves of the globe in record numbers
This might be your prettiest batch yet, her mother told her.
Queen of Caterpillars had to stifle a laugh.
Her mother said this every single season.
And she was not wrong....

Against All Odds
I promulgate against all odds,
To let go indoubts my mind
Profusely with no room to spare.

The image retracts the greater
Evil that lures deep with~in the
Back walls of my soul;and itches
poisonous ivy under my skin,
which starves my hunger for
you.

Are you ready to excape all necessary
Placements to give eachother a special
treatment; of exotic tendiousy's if you dare...
To share the double pleasure... with me; and
only me....

Premium Member Note About My Contest
Hi. First, I would like to thank poets for entering my Love Poem contest.

My note is:

I have received some good poems that are not within the rules of length required. Either they are too short or too long. I am just giving the opportunity for those who have entered to re-check their poems and edit their poems if necessary to fit the guidelines. Otherwise, they will not be considered for placements.

Thank you,

Heidi...

Iim Bangalore
In the heart of bustling city,
It majestically sprawls across,
Mesmerising and gorgeous,
Bounded by pristine stone walls.

Awash with memories, I recall
Nights slogged until dawn,
Gearing up for exams and events
And placements to top it all.

Lived a dream with friends for life,
On these hallowed lands,
Rightfully the 'place to be', now and
Even in the years to come!...

THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR

The lighthouse beacon where a captain lives
alongside the sea he loves. The ghost thrives —
With relish he scares,
The ugly not fair,
Falls madly in love when widow arrives.

With gruff bearded spirit by candlelight,
Mrs. Muir taps on type paper to write
Of his time at sea.
He sells it all free.
The editor is awed by her ghost write.
