Pitter patter goes the heart;
Faster and faster it fell apart.
Dimmer and dimmer all senses went;
A hurried heart now all spent.

The bitter spatter of the rain
Revives a road that's getting wetter.
A pitter patter sings of pain:
Makes drowning ink run from a letter.

I watch the rain---

Merges with the cacophony

On everything!
The first rainfall after my "then" husband's death from cancer at age 34...
rushing waters fall
as of sweet rhythmic curtains,
draping moss and stone

I take caramel with my kitty cat please

Making me a latte should be a breeze.

Dog chases the raccoon away

Cat is happy
