distant wolves sniff at the winds,
sense what you do not.
your death hums in the air!
pings run through your heart
to raise a berm of hair!
Baskerville hounds now shift
from lope to lunge.
their thirst for blood has come!
rapacious tongues make clear
your death is in their mouths!...

Perpetual Forgiveness
Gray lines become fragmented
twisted around each beat
that pings within this tinman
with stones upon my feet

washed white walls
plastic virgin talks
split tongue keeps waggling
while the Holy Ghosts walks

peppered in pretend
pin it to a shoe
the worth of three words
and your promises, not you...

Premium Member Does the Noise in my Head Bother You?
Tinnitis is annoying, with little tings
going off in my ears, and crackles and rings.
With this noise in my head
I dread going to bed,
This affliction's such a terrible thing.

I often go for days without any pings
inside of my head, no hisses or dings;
but when they occur
I can't relax, life's a blur;
If there's ever a cure, I will sing!...

Love Left Unsaid
The imperfect sunrise of mourning
Tears glittered by sugar and spice

like regretful words of self tormenting
My tounge of coals is removed twice,

Silenced from former end fights,
Forgiveness is found in remembering

She'll never know how my heart pings
FM static wet windows and cold

lost in moments of sun shards shimmering
All the way down the road...

Hand Bells
One, two, three
He starts it off
A phalanx of bells starts
Rings from posts on a horse-shoe set of tables

Big heavy dongs from one of the flanks
Little light tings from the other
Medium dings from the middle
Exclusive pings when it happens

Dings like falling glass on impact
Madness orchestrated
Chaotic music with perfect control
A river of tune created...

Imagine
Imagine

Yellow socks tambourines pretty girls and fax machines
Sunshine waves Heinz baked beans and black tinted windowed limousines
Garbage anarchy wasps that sting and red currant jam potting magazines
Madness purity wedding rings and watching Mary Berry’s tips on the finest
cuisines
Ice cubes tweed ping pong pings and the gold dust of a magic monkey blowing
over your sleeping dreams...

Premium Member And a White Gull Glides

the sky is a hazy blue sea today and a breeze touches the tree tops and they sway like emerald waves oh, there is a perfect silence ... though hidden birds chatter and twitter and my flowers tremble while others are ... perfectly still and my hanging ivy is creeping and twining and somewhere a wind chime pings once and a white gull glides _________________ June 9, 2021

Rain Down the Window Pane
Saturday evening rain down my window pane,
Shades pulled down hide the sight of clear dribbling dots,
Spending the night alone with the soothing pings of water outside tying to come in.

Remember when the AC broke right before the long weekend?
We couldn't get it fixed for a full week,
Instead of complaining about heat,
We went to the beach and took it all in.

Funny how the seasons change so quickly....

Earth Sings and Swings Through Space
earth sings and swings through space
blue pearl's nascent sostenuto
sun's rouge reveil blush dusts her face
space pings as new world rings
angels praise God's high hopes

VALENTINE PACKAGE

Plea.

in this deep freeze, dear
this cold region – michigan
i must make it clear
limbs are frozen all the time
please melt the ice, valentine

Forever Yours – plus that old time candy

i’m yours forever
struck with love like a dumb ox
cannot be clever
no sweet candy in a box
can top my love forever

Lost Valentine

the wind is howling
rain pings against my window
i’m feeling so low
part the clouds dear valentine
let in your ray of sunshine...

Delicate hands sweep over the strings Stirring chords and melodies meet, The harpist gently plunks and pings Producing music soft and sweet. She does not smile, concentrating On the nuances of each crescendo, Tenor of the performance elevating Each measure a startling innuendo. The climax brings a stirring rush Exhilarating orchestral responses As over the audience falls a hush The music its hearers ensconces.

Old Barnes Glimpsed From a Speeding Car
The corner of my eye notes it
as my car speeds by,
eyesight pings it
momentarily, an image
looks back.

The outbuilding is vacant,
bathed in a sparrow and bat time
that flutters inside its hollow shell.

Barn ambience
has kidnapped my attention
it has stabled my eyes in a timeless stall
where horse tails hang suspended
from broken timepieces
not clocks, just pieces of time
that,
like dust in sunlight
muster in the air
to mime a car and a glance
rubbernecking back....
