Decided to overcome fear
His dive of two feet
Will never be beat
When ever the water is clear

There once was a wealthy tycoon
Who loved piloting his balloon
In Albuquerque
He rammed a turkey
And landed a wee bit too soon

Ping

There is a magic zing-- a nice warm cheer
When with eyes, a-twinkling
On soft shoulders, each-clinging
Two hearts attuned, are singing.

Premium Member China's Outlawed Ping-Pong

In Red China they've just outlawed Ping-Pong
You have to wonder what too them so long
To have to play in a mask
     A near-impossible task
But what got it banned were those skimpy thongs

Premium Member Sing the Ping Pong Song

I'll teach you the ping pong song.
You can all sing along -
the ping song, ping song, ping song.

The words are easy. You can't sing wrong.
Sing it loud and sing it strong -
sing pong, sing pong, sing pong.

Ping

sit here staring out of eyes
that i don't seem joined to
searching inside for the exit door
fingers move without invitation
screaming from this flesh and bone prison
playing tennis with echo words
drowning in my thoughts

A Little Ing, For My Bird Called Ping!

For My Step Baby Sister, Olayinka Bada

My loving bird, whom I call Ping
Your lovely wing,
Be sure to swing
When to God above we sing
Our adoration songs titled ‘Praise Ring,’
-------for to Him whom we plan to sing,
Heaven and earth, to his side, cling.

A Game of Ping Pong Poetry
By Franklin Price
1/12 /2017

Poem
A verse to start the game
That rhymes
With words that sound the same
The tale
About an eye lid wink
And why?
Makes readers stop and think
About ?
What could the reason be?
Answer
To get the smile I see

Premium Member The Ping Pong Song

A return is impossible. Feel the sting
of my vicious forehand...ping.
My friend, I'm afraid you've got that wrong.
Here it comes - my tenacious...pong.
Hear this - my shot's resounding ring.
I doubt you can repel that...ping.
Take that, my unyielding counter...pong.
Ah, the melody of the ping pong song.

Premium Member Ping Pong

The old man said to a young man,
Each time he answered the phone.
Hitch your wagon with a strong hand.
Have courage, go far, and live long.
Encourage yourself and take a stand.
Expect the best and play lots of ping pong.

Premium Member The Smartphone's Ping

The hardest thing was to let that telephone ring
Then came along the smartphone's 'ping'...

...to leave us vexed...
    What came next?
    Trying to ignore that text

And you're surely old, if not bitter
   or a technology-quitter --
To never have tweeted or twittered

Ping Had a Dollar Bill

PING HAD A DOLLAR BILL

Ping had a Dollar bill got from the king Weevil,
                 Who loved nuts, beans, almonds, millets ,peas as a meal;
                                So Ping named the king- ‘Crackpea’;
                                      Queen? ‘Nut’, invariably
And gave the dollar to bee Toll and went downhill

Premium Member At Dawn

It seems you cannot hear
The words I speak to you
And we just can’t appear
In dreams we’re living through
It’s poor connection sign
No tech support can mend
The general decline
“Your message can’t be sent”
Communication’s down
Through fields of memory
I walk, cause I am bound
To find both you and me
The wheel rolls on and on
Looks like it can’t stop turning
But once it stops, at dawn
You hear a ping that morning..
