The Smartphone's Ping

The hardest thing was to let that telephone ring
   Then came along the smartphone's 'ping'...
    
...to leave us vexed...
    What came next?
    Trying to ignore that text 

And you're surely old, if not bitter
   or a technology-quitter --
   To never have tweeted or twittered

Tom Cunningham February 15, 2019 at 2:15 AM I see sometimes peoples phone pings and even if youre talking they look at their phone, it control's them, so annoying. Maybe its an age thing lol
